Merely being present during a certain period doesn't qualify one as a "legend." You've set the bar awfully low for legendary status.

But I always get a kick out of the old-timers who come around here bragging about some sort of halcyon days of smack that never really existed. Yeah, I was around for it. Sure, it was more fun back then, but that was more because message boards, and the internet in general, were still relatively fresh and new, and not because the content was so amazingly clever. I was reading through some threads a while back that I think Cuda had archived from Smackchat. There were definitely some solid posters like Euro, DC Smackmaster, Moorese, etc. But the rest, pretty much a deep pool of unreadable fuckwittery. Mostly just Valvenis and about 10 other dudes running 3rd grade homosmack at each other all day, along with SG spamming every thread up and down with inane tripe. Put it this way...Shrubber used to be considered one of the "heavy hitters." What more do you need to know?

Crashing other boards were our motto and being banned by them was like a badge of honor. I know we all are older, some 15 to 20 years older, but it was fun as heck doing it.

I find it VERY VERY VERY peculiar that screwy isn't in any of those pictures. Perhaps it's because he's extremely ugly and ashamed of his looks or maybe those aren't his pictures, or a maybe a combination of both. I bet he is ugly and those aren't his pictures.
