Why don't you go ahead and list these "common sense gun control laws"?

Or this one:

"we could go into [gun control policy], but it's a little bit too soon."
(Trump on Texas massacre)

I guess the "too soon" clock resets after each mass shooting.

So, a person's medical records are no longer private?

And crack a book sometime -- a person who has been diagnosed with a mental illness is MUCH less likely to commit a violent crime, but much more likely to be a victim of one.

So, a person who statistically is much less likely to commit a violent crime should have their Constitutional rights revoked... why?

So far, we've got one example of a "common sense" FAIL. That's kind of the exact opposite of "common sense."

It is too soon to talk about it. The shooter is white.

Our lisping Representative and snaggy pussy eating Governor within less than 12 hours of the event all made references the need for additional measures to prevent these tragedies. Never once mentioning guns of course to avoid search engine hits, but clearly looking to advance their gun control agenda. The Dems will not be satisfied until every last gun is banned and seized and the populace completely disarmed and the 2A eliminated from the Constitution.

Dude convicted of multiple violent offenses was able to purchase an assault rifle with no red flags.

Derron says don't talk about gun control.

Only you can follow your logic. You scream Trump/GOP in every thread so most of us started tuning you out long ago.

But let’s hear your idea of “common sense” gun control. Pretty sure that won’t be any sort of consensus.

And I heard that he assaulted his wife and his child and got a dishonorable discharge after a year in the pokey. I'd say he was a schmick (douchebag loser).

Hard to believe someone convicted of domestic violence could buy or keep firearms. Seems he must have fell through cracks of existing laws.

The USAF failed to inform the FBI of his transgressions, which should have barred him from legally acquiring the weapons.

Seems to me that the fact that the guy threatened to kill his mother-in-law probably would be the motive. Funny thing is mother-in-law wasn't at church that day. Rack that backsliding woman for doing the right thing.

You really suck at this message board thing.

There are all sorts of white people upset over this white on white crime. What you don’t see is white’s not discussing this and instead focusing on some killing of white people by a balck person.

And please name one thing your NPR guy changed his mind on, since you failed to do it in your post. Not sure why you didn't provide the one thing that matters in the subject.

A few paragraphs into your article: "The study did not say whether the most egregious examples — those at the heart of the nation’s debate on police shootings — are free of racial bias."

So it didn't study the one thing you said was discussed to death. You REALLY suck at this thinking thing.

No one is saying there aren't bad police, what we're saying is a majority are good. That the injust shootings are few and far between, and have been blown out of porportion by the media.

How about police shootings, are all those defunct of racial bias?

We all know the answer to that, and it is not no.
