No, but I did pay about 200k in child support.
I paid about 220, plus property settlement of 250. Took me years to get clear of that mess.

We got that Board Bitch. Women don’t want you long term. The novelty is interesting for a few hours, but quickly fades. Others though took the thread towards mortgages. Do your best to keep up.

Apparently making love to the same woman that you actually care about, on a regular basis, is over rated. I suspect it basically comes down to the fact that no one ever came back for seconds of midget cahk.

I pity him.

Sorry to hear this, but the good news is you're gonna wonder why the hell you got married in the first place. Because you would have just ended up like shutyomouth--fat, bitter, and irritating.

On the cheaper arguement, no way. I know my employee is paying about $750 per month more in rent for his 2 bedroom apartment with a garage than we pay in mortgage payments. I know this exactly because he took over the lease from the company when he signed on. We had it for another employee previously. I also know the house across the street from ours is renting for about $1000 a month more than our mortgage. This we know as the owner told us what he was getting.

When you factor in insurance and taxes on our crib at approx $13,500 a year we pay a bit more than the above examples. However, we are also about 6-8 years from paying off our current mortgage. At that point our costs will drop well below that of a renter. Plus we have huge equity in our house which a renter never has.
This is a very simplistic response to a very complex and personal question. There is no doubt that for those with the financial wherewithal, buying a home is usually better deal than renting. But a ton also depends on where you live, what your profession is, your family situation, your marriage situation and what your future ambitions are.

You and your wife are financially well to do, and you live in San Antonio, an affordable housing market, and plan to stay there. Owning makes perfect sense.

There are a lot of people who make very stupid financial decisions because they are chasing the aura that owning is ALWAYS better than renting, and that is simply not true. Look at Rumps---owning his home ruined his marriage. He was working mad hours to save the family home and his wife told him to hit the bricks. If they had been renting, they would have only had to find a new place, although it a heated rental market due to the flooding, and he could have spent "more time" with his wife.

Lastly, remember that historical appreciation of homes is around 6.3%. There are better financial investment. Then again, buying a home is not an investment.

Perhaps you have this opinion because you’ve never been in a marriage which is satisfying? I always find it strange that those who haven’t experienced a happy marriage assume that it isn’t possible, thus is “the dumbest contract ever.” You become the male version of that woman who tells everyone she meet at the bar that all men are pigs. I’m kind of embarrassed for you, dude.

Be as happy as you want.
Stay together as long as you want.
Be as monogamous as you want.
Getting legally married is stupid.
I have had long term relationships that lasted a lot longer than many a marriage. The only difference is we broke up on our terms not the governments' terms.

Well, I’m done groveling and begging and telling her it’s all my fault. Need to get my dignity back, so I kicked her to the curb last night. Told her if she wants a divorce and feels convicted in needing to meet someone else and see if she still loves me, then she doesn’t also get to enjoy the fruits of our newly rebuilt home.

She honestly thought we could stay in the house and live in separate rooms and be separated. Not gonna happen.

So you got your friend kicked out of his house. Some friend you are. But sounds about right for you.

Props to you Coogs. She wants her cake and to eat it too. She wouldn’t stand for that same shit if you told her you needed to meet someone else to see if you still loved her.

I know I’m not legally allowed to do what I did, but her solution to being separated for some time was a dumb one. Think how emotionally and psychologically screwed up it would be when we’re both staying in the house and one of us doesn’t come home one night? I can’t go through that...no way in hell am I going to allow myself to be put through that kind of torcher if I’m on the receiving end of it.

I figure if she wants to see what’s out there and give up on 14 years of marriage and 19 years of being together, then that comes at a cost. She can do her bachelorette thing somewhere else. Of course, I’m going to have to help her with rent since she can’t live here. I realize that.

Tell bitch to get the fuck out and support herself on her own. She wants to have it all and you can pay for it. Then when she is tired of trying to "find herself", also know as fucking every swinging dick around then coming back to you with buckets of jizz running out of her well worn snatch because she can't support herself, and the cycle will start all over again, and you will take her back.

Kick her out, put the house up for sale, give her half of everything and start over, because that is how it is going to end anyway. Save yourself a lot of money and grief.

It’s been a tough go of it these last 11 days. But it’s easier now that I don’t have to see her in the mornings and evenings. Much easier.
