I'd say the issue appears to be leaders who are bought and paid for by interests that don't have the Constitutional guarantees of it's citizenry as their primary function. Leading to those without corporation financial backing to fade quickly in primaries.

I don't agree with some of Trump's policies, like the bloated budget. But Democrats don't get it, Donald won the election because he was not part of the dysfunctional govenment establishment.

Citizens want security and a consistent safe society for all. Unfortunately the Democratic platform seems to be create anarchy then point fingers at the president.

That's not going to fly in November or the next presidential election.
