I'm in agreement, the country picked Obama to be president, that in itself showed the country had made a lot of progress in race relations. Until Obama didn't back police and sided with black criminals. A simple statement to obey police commands and take your fight to court would have sufficed, instead he threw gasoline on the fire. And yes Screwy, there were some bad cops, and they should be prosecuted for their actions, but most cops are not bad.

Now the country has to deal with the ramifications of Obama's miscue, which reared its ugly head in the last general election when many blacks didn't bother to vote.
