Yes. Last year when camping. Believe me I was as shocked as anyone that this stuff seems to check out. I still want to know why that is.

LS,
Eyewitness accounts can help in some situations but this is not one of them for me. It’s science vs Law in some ways. I want to do the experiments first hand to see for myself. So far pops math checks out from what I can perceive.

Same advice I gave your idiot cohort -- next time you see a surveyor working at a site, go ask him. If I were you, I wouldn't tell him the specific reason you're asking, but if you do, do him the courtesy of helping him up after he starts rolling on the ground laughing.

So, you shot a laser at a known height to a point in the distance of a known height?

Good start.

What was the water temperature at the surface, the air temp immediately above the surface, and at the height of your laser/aiming point? Relative humidity? Barometric pressure?

Or was your "experiment" half-ass, and used one observation, and ignored very basic principles of surveying?

Question for you -- why do star "twinkle"? Figure that out, and you'll see why you and Softhead are gullible.

Who conducted the experiment? Was it you? Was it somebody else? What were their credentials? What tools did they use? Did you verify their methods were correct? Did you record the findings? Surely a discovery as enlightening as this one would come with some sort of documented record.

Also, why should anyone believe you? You could totally be making this up, which I suspect you are. I mean, how many people lug laser equipment along on a "camping trip" for the purposes of measuring earth curvature? "Hmmm, let's see, I've got my tent, sleeping bag, cooking pot, s'mores, hammock, and my industrial sized laser equipment...check!"

With you flat earthers, your whole gimmick is to deny any evidence you haven't witnessed live, in person. You seem to be doing just that in this thread, by denying, or at least questioning, the existence of southern hemisphere non-stop flights, purely on the basis of having never taken one yourself. So based on your own argument, why then should we believe your account? We weren't there to witness it with our own eyeballs, therefore, the evidence is irrelevant, right?

I've never been to Grand Rapids, MI. Ergo (Latin), I can't be sure it exists. Although if I head east past the Rockies, I should immediately be able to see it.

Queerland, not that you are on the flat erf train, what is your take on global warming?

Regarding your experiment, just what the fukk did you ? You shot a laser and came up with a measurement. Good for you. What does that prove.

How’s about you try it over 20 miles with your transmitter and receiver at 2 ft above the surface and get back to us. Surely you can find a body of water smooth enough that waves won’t be an issue.

That kind of stuff. I have never been to the moon so I can not confirm it’s there or if it is sphere.

Think Zététique.
You and pop seem to struggle with the issue of scale. The erf is a sphere. A fairly big one.

Why do you suppose TV and radio stations bother with really tall antennae or put them on top of mountains?

Considering that Grand Rapids may not even exist, I have to call bullshit on this. It makes about as much sense as Softtard's reasoning.

STFU moron.

I enjoyed 6 out of 7. The blonde coffee thing was meh. Not that it was bad. Just not my cup of tea. The others ranged from quite good to, holy fukk, that may be the best beer I have ever had (M-43). Mgoo and I may do a little more trading between M-43 and Heady Topper. I was thinking of sending him a coors light, so he can have something in the fridge for when you come by.

There's your science.

121 pages of scientific data.

Fully documented laser tests that were done in seven different locations, in seven different weather conditions, and guess what?

The water is laying FLAT.

Stop posting in this thread and take some time instead to look at the data.

In all fairness, no one can explain the exact physics of why gravity exists. So bear in mind that we're dealing with a particularly dim bulb here, so cut him some slack. Some very basic shit is beyond his grasp. He thinks the bible is a science book, for fuck's sake.
