Am I the only person that has noticed the Stock Market is down 4,000 points since the DEMOCRATS won congress????

It's NOT a coincidence. The democrats hate a good economy because they want to keep poor people in chains.

Poverty + Democrats = VOTES!

Surely, 'Tardt saw this coming?
Yeah.

We are in a bear market.
Markets never go straight up or down.

It is going to 17,500 (or that neighborhood), where it will pause and go sideways for a while.
Then it will go DOWN much further.

Much pain will be felt.

Buy the dip.
Donald said so!

You are not capable of sarcasm. Sarcasm requires an IQ north of Meltspray's waist size. (57)

You'd be FAR happier if you blew your little brain out with a high powered rifle. End the pain for yourself, buddy.
I couldn't be much happier than I am right now laughing at you, Melty.

Oh yes.
The dreaded glitch.

:)

Trump told reporters Wednesday that the bloody December for U.S. stocks was caused by “a little glitch” and predicted a strong 2019 for the market. He predicted that stocks would rise close to 30 percent by year’s end after the president finalizes trade deals with China and the European Union.

Buy, buy, buy!

Buy the glitch!

30% gains on tap!

Well first of all, what shouldn't be happening is the U.S. President telling people to buy, and also telling them that the market will go up 30% in the next year.
lol

Absolutely surreal.

The markets are going to melt no matter what happens, so these two steps should be taken...

1. Back the dollar with a fraction of gold

2. Then raise interest rates by at least 1%

The next leg down is poised to begin.

Look for a very sharp drop with say, the next 10 days or so.

I anticipate the Dow then moving down past its previous low (21,800) -- and probably considerably so.
