Osama had it coming to him. But Al-Waliki and his son, both US citizens? No. At the very least a public trial in absentia should have been held and if found guilty and then given a death sentence,
then drone him. As it was, even if Al-Waliki was deserving of death, his son was innocent.
I agree

It can be taken away as part of a signed agreement. Paying them pallet loads of cash to agree to restrict their program would make more sense than paying them and removing restrictions.
But you're forgetting, the US has no credibility on that point. That was done to the DPRK under Clinton and you simply reneged. The deal was worked, signed and the cash wasn't delivered. The light water reactors were never built, so the heavy water reactors were switched back on. Iran still exists in the abstract 'Axis of Evil' alongside the DPRK, they're not stupid.
Interesting to see the 'sanctions' flag being tarried, despite being morally reprehensible to any thinking person. Using food as a weapon is the height of perversity. And practically, they don't work and have never worked - it's futile.

I think you are missing the point. I was saying giving them cash would be an incentive for them to agree to restrict their nuclear program. This leaves them with coin with which they can feed their people.
But attacking US assets and those of close allies is pretty fucking stupid despite your claim of their intellect.

But any offer of cash is an offer that isn't guaranteed. I'm saying that in past dealings, the US has reneged on payment when it 'strikes a deal'.
You have no credibility, just a history of not honouring the payments in situations like this.

So the pallet loads of cash didn't happen?
