Re: Epstein = Toast
Trump should be coming out sometime soon with a tweet claiming that he never really knew Acosta, had no say in appointing him Labor Secretary, and didn't like the job he was doing anyway.

Re: Epstein = Toast
There is something very wrong with the way A. Acosta handled the Epstein case.
The only way Acosta's behavior can be understood, imo, is if either...
1. He was grossly incompetent.
or
2. He was told by "someone" that he would not be pursuing his case against Epstein *nudge* *nudge*. Money exchanged, or threats made.
In light of the incredible ugliness of Epstein's crimes, and Acosta's inexplicable actions in not seeking justice for them, for the president to be standing out next to him on the lawn singing his praises is just... wow.
Nothing from the president or Acosta about the long list of victimized women and children, who Acosta chose not to stand up for -- when he had it right in his wheelhouse to do so.
Instead, it was essentially, "Some people are not happy with how the Epstein case was handled 12 years ago, and it will be too much of a distraction going forward. For those reasons, Acosta has decided to step aside now."
Good grief.
This is incredible.
Major shit show.

The failure to state an actionable claim is the least of the problems associated with this case. There was the fact that the address listed on the filing was actually an abandoned, foreclosed property and the phone number "she" used was no longer in service, but the biggest sticking point is the FACT that there is not a single, solitary shred of evidence to suggest let alone prove that this "Katie Johnson" person actually exists.Kierland wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 12:18 amIt was dismissed for failing to state a claim. So what?88 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 9:24 pm Screwy, Screwy, Screwy... Let's hope someone never files a pro se Complaint against you alleging that you rape children.
Not only was there no violent sexual assault, there is no fake victim of this fictitious crime. The suit was brought by a well documented nutjob named Norm Lubow, a former producer on the Jerry Springer Show.
You remain an extraordinarily stupid and fucked up mess.in 1998, Lubow appeared wearing a disguise in the controversial documentary film Kurt and Courtney under the name “Jack Briggs” alongside Bowman, the minor Hollywood promoter whose photograph was later used by “Al Taylor” for television interviews. Bowman said “Briggs” was Lubow. In the film, director Nick Broomfield said Lubow and Bowman had introduced him to Eldon “El Duce” Hoke, a Seattle-based musician who claimed Courtney Love offered him $50,000 to kill her husband Kurt Cobain, the singer and guitarist in the rock band Nirvana. The allegation about Hoke, which became lore among some Nirvana fans following Cobain’s suicide in 1994, was denied by Love.
According to the New York Post, in 1995 Lubow, using the name “Ron X”, also claimed to tabloids that he had sold drugs to OJ Simpson on the day Simpson’s estranged wife Nicole Brown was murdered. Lubow denied the Post’s report.

With the Morning Blow panel rightfully taking Donald to the woodshed.

Just pointing out that the focus of this story is slowly drifting away from Epstein, like I said it would.
You are all standing in a circle pointing at Trump and the child rapist is going to slink out of the room. Probably going to rape more children.

The story should shift. Dirtbag is in custody. More press doesn’t cook his goose any more. And I would add that your prediction doesn’t even seem to be coming true unless by “kerfuffle” you meant the focus on Ep.

Re: Epstein = Toast
I will be content with the story shifting when either the coroner pulls the zipper over his head, or the judge bangs the gavel on 25-to-life.
Also, Epstein isn't alone in this. If this implicates Trump, then he can share a cell with that creep. But everyone involved in this should burn.

And I think that that is how the press is playing it, so other than (understandably) lashing out what point are you trying to make?
