Depends -- I suppose if you're an idiot that falls for every Chicken Little bullshit that gets tossed out, then sure, you're correct.

But you've always shown a propensity to lap up every doom and gloom chunk of horseshit that comes along.

Yes. People are changing the composition of the planet’s atmosphere. No one knows what that change will mean. If you want to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere, reduce human population. Everything else is just lying. Which you are very comfortable of doing at all times.
No lots of people know what it means. You even know what it means you just won’t admit you were wrong and that your FF overloads conned you just like Don did you greedy POFS. As far as being carbon neutral it’s not hard to not burn coal and oil if you aren’t a fat greedy planet killing fucktard.

“The climate is always changing.”
Is it even possible for you to try and make a point without dropping fallacies like your Dear Leader drops lies?
We are not talking about if climate changes we are talking about the rate you fucking fascist baby killer.

And what about the rate?

Early 20th century, it warmed quickly.

The middle 40 years of the century? "Oh noooooes!!!!!! Da Ice Age is upon us!!!! We must "do something".

Last 20 years, mother nature got tired of listening to the doomsayers and turned up the thermostat again.

First 20 years of this century, it's plateaued. It hasn't cooled and may be increasing slightly, but nothing like what the chicken littles forecast.

Of course, this means that we frequently have a "highest recorded July or April. And they say "SEE, what'd I tell you!!!!"

The fact that it is an imperceptibly small increase means nothing to them.

And man, how 'bout this crazy hurricane season?

What are we up to? 10? 15 maybe?

What's that? The season's first tropical depression is warming in the bullpen, with 3 days left in August?

Using that exact graph, there is undoubtedly a leveling off in the last 20 years. And how is the 1935-1980 period explained? This period saw massive increases in CO2 output, with a dip in temps.

My vision ain't what it used to be, but I can indeed see a few things.

The number one thing, which is conveniently ignored, is that right smack in the middle of the first century of large scale man caused CO2 output, there is a rather puzzling leveling off and actual dip in temps. We did nothing but accelerate CO2 output through this stretch.

Secondly, after a 20 year spurt which ended our ice age fears, the temp is still rising, but the rate has slowed noticeably. This is the opposite of what algore and his minions predicted.

This last 20 year stretch has seen China and India jump into the CO2 bidness with both feet.

If CO2/temp really are strongly related, there should have been an acceleration in rate of increase.

Some statistician cherry picking a time period and drawing a straight line through it, does not change anything.

This graph established a "long term average" baseline.

What is "long term"?

Could you not read it as us averting an ice age by cranking up the CO2 machine around 1900? I mean we did have a steady plunge going there and I think that reasonable people can agree that things getting a little warmer rather than a little colder, is a plus, overall.

If it cools, we lose arable land. If it warms, we gain it.

That's kind of a good thing when you have 8 billion bellies to fill.

And some of them are 'spray sized bellies!

Offsetting has been hailed as a fix for runaway emissions and climate change—but the [carbon] market’s largest firm sold millions of credits for carbon reductions that weren’t real.
