And before you label me a Trump shill, I think his crying about not getting Obama’s fed rates is perfectly fair. A healthy economy doesn’t need such low rates. I think that Obama’s bear zero rates were stupid. They felt good at the moment, just like that shot of H feels good to a junkie. Trouble is, they get used to it. We are now in an environment where everyone wants free money. Fuck anyone that wants a safe return on savings. Put it on red and cross your fingers.
Maybe someday we’ll get rid of the micro-managing fed which gave us the depression and has exaggerated normal cycles.
I hope it’s soon.
