But Teeeehas is a tad bigger and is blessed with the geography where large scale birdkilling errrr green power generation at least comes close to making sense. They also know that if they put themselves at the mercy of DC, it will most likely suck.

So, while being tied into places that could feed them power made sense last week. Odds are it won't for the future, esecially if they learn something from this and do what needs doing to deal with the next cold snap. For legacy power systems, this should be laughably easy. A few fiberglass batt and some duct tape.

Would you or anyone else care to make a wager on grid stability over the next 5 years between Texas and Cali? I'll go with Texas and even give Cali some points.
