Actually he did influence the Republicans to kill that bill, which would have passed with bipartisan support otherwise. All the Republican apologists have been complaining about how supposedly biased for Harris the moderators were. But I saw it completely differently. There were multiple times when he spoke beyond his time or completely out of turn and by the rules he should have been cut off, but wasn’t. Also, when asked why he killed that bill refused to answer an changed the subject. And then they moved on to something else without challenging him at all on that.
