Oregon appears to be at the top of the field right now.
And Boise State lost to Oregon in Oregon by 3 points. But, Sam thinks Bama should be ranked higher than Boise State.
As does ESPN and others.
Really, SECpn would want Bama in???
Too funny.

I know. Hard to believe, right?!
I don’t think Alabama earned it this season. Not at all.
But…oddsmakers have them among the top 7 or 8 at best odds to win it all, so what do I know?!

If SMU wins, Bama is in. If they lose, they need to lose bad…blown off field Otherwise committee might take them instead of Alabama.
Night, night bama'.
At least it saves you getting blown out and embarrassed in the final 12.

From Tide’s perspective, worst possible ending.
Shouldn’t have lost to Vandy and OU. Don’t deserve a spot.
SMU played their asses off in 4th quarter. Congrats to the ACC.

Wish I had a split screen TV to watch the last few minutes of both games. The remote was getting a workout.
bama is a major part of the current problem with BTPCFB. They spent a shitload of money during the Sabot regime, and money flow now controls the sport.
anOSU and UGA are also guilty but hey, they're just trying to keep up.
Do athletes even need to meet college entrance requirements and attend classes anymore?

The "student athlete" idea has been a joke for a fairly decent chunk of the last century.
NIL regulations have addressed this fallacy. Why don't we just formalize it and change rules to reflect the reality.
The reality is that some kids are "student athletes". They are good enough to earn scholarships, but understand that they'll likely have to get a real job at some point, so might as well take some classes. But others know damn well, that college is just a place to go to work on their skills a bit before moving on to the pros. Why the fukk even make them pretend to take classes. Leave the decision to them.

Funny how two of the four top seeds are former PAC 12 teams.
And neither of them is Cal.

Except half of the football players on each of those teams are from California.
So it's kinda like Cal having two teams in the CFB playoff.
That being said, regards to bama'.

Didn’t play like they wanted it bad enough. No excuse for the Oklahoma debacle.
Did not deserve it, even though they’d be favored over a good many of the teams that made it.
Maybe this will wake up DeBoer and the returning kids. Discipline was lacking this year. You wanna win? Or just have fun? You can do both, but it requires discipline.
Congrats to SMU and all the schools in the playoff. Should be a blast.
