I was referencing Mikey’s inaccurate statements elsewhere re Daniel Penny’s political affiliations and his feelings toward Jordan Neely.

Two unrelated matters. I should have excluded my point about Alabama’s penchant for lowering the flag.

And you're blaming liberals when Alabama lowers the flag?
He blames liberals for everything that’s gone wrong in his life and everything that will. Along with a whole bunch of other stuff.
Not true. I was a card carrying liberal for many years. In fact, I blame neo-cons for a lot of our problems. In addition, very little has “gone wrong” in my life. It’s been a pretty damn good run.

As HPG said, the flag is flown at half staff every time some pissant “public servant” croaks. It’s at the discretion of governors as well as the prez and they drop the damn thing way too often.

https://us-flag.net/code/
While we’re on the subject, outside of honoring military who die in the line of duty, why do we name building gs, bridges, roads, etc after “public servants” who have absolutely no skin in the game. They use our tax money or issue bonds to get that stuff built.

How about the vicious rabbit incident?

For the record, he was a great non-president.

Biden has done irreparable damage to the country. Soon we’ll be dealing with terrorist attacks similar to what Israel and Europe endure. Subway suicide bombings (transit, not sandwich shops), athletic event bombings, concerts, vehicles jumping curbs to mow down pedestrians, et al. will be part of our lives due to the influx of terrorists Biden encouraged.

The Biden crime family’s operations will be exposed shortly as well.

He was and is a horrible human being. Money over country.

I remember my Dad saying the Peanut farmer was ruining the US. I also remember us discussing paying for a house and how it was difficult under him. Prolly did t fully understand mortgage then but we had a couple of discussions around that.

But regardless he was a shit President first hand memories or after the fact reading.

But nice of you to try to move the goalposts on what a shit President he was.

Jimmy Carter was seriously awful as a president.
If someone is trying to shine that turd, they should take up a new hobby.

Stagflation, gas lines, Mr. Rogers sweaters & fireside chats, and the national humiliation of the Iranian hostage crisis.
That debacle pretty much got Ted Koppel's *Nightline* career kicked off.

I was in high school and early college during Carter's years, so I was old enough to recognize how bad things were.
There was a general malaise over the nation -- a sense of hopelessness, because the leadership was in so woefully over its head.

It was actually fairly similar to the last 4 years with Bidet at the helm.
But Carter wasn't groping kiddies and cr@pping his trou'... at least that we know of.
So Jimmy had that in the asset column.

Those were all of Ford’s mishaps that Jimmy inherited. When in fact Jimmy’s economic policies are what sparked all the growth in the 1980s, but of course Benito Reagan stole all the credit for that, which always happens after Dems clean everything up.

The voters weren’t patient enough with Jimmy to see all the flowering benefits that were on the horizon after his first four years.

Same exact thing happened to Joe. If it weren’t for a bad cold and some light jet lag, we wouldn’t be in this mess!

A state funeral for Jimmy Carter will be held tomorrow.
A national day of mourning.

Many things will be *CLOSED* on Thursday.

All executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government, postal facilities, mail delivery, the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, other things...

Sam, starting to get it.

RACK

We need to be talking about taking over Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal. And even more importantly, changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Now that he’s been elected and certified without any violent insurrection perpetrated by his opponent, he can put grocery, home and gas prices, immigration, His Boarder Wall, and abortion on the back burner.

The Gulf of America. What a beautiful sound that has. Maybe we could even call it the Gulf of Trump. No windmills to kill whales there either.
