This one is on Trump. He said he would build "The Wall" and lied to the Trumpers and never built it.

So glad we’ve had a “woke” military that embraced DEI. We need more radical Islamists in all branches.

The killer had expressed his radical ideas on multiple occasions, but his superiors were afraid to rein him in because they feared being accused of racial or religious bigotry

Two key points:
If Bourbon Street was an official gun-free zone OR if we had massive federal gun bans across the board, this tragedy could have been averted completely.
The silver lining here is there were likely many greedy, slimy company CEOs walking around Bourbon Street last night that could have been taken out for the greater good of society. Hopefully all of the casualties were CEOs, or at worst, CFOs.
Your shtick is getting more and more boring, and just stupid. But carry on it seems to appeal to the low IQ set here.

Here's another quality DEI lib token. You know, the one who could barely string a sentence together like her masser-in-chief-an-shit. Don't worry. The FBI is taking over the investigation after she polishes her nose piercing.

Horrible situation, but…

RACK IT.
Bourbon Street Bollard Assessment & Replacement Project
Senator John Neely Kennedy is a piece of shit. Worst FBI press conference ever. Unforgiveable how he treated FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Alethea Duncan yesterday.
Between Kennedy and Mike Johnson, the state may need to be purified by fire. Two of the worst Republican representatives on the planet.

Kennedy wasn't always like that. I knew him when he was a State Representative and then Treasurer, and he certainly didn't talk like a hick then.
It boggles my mind that Mike Johnson, of all people, is being criticized for not being conservative enough. He is a True Believer in Christian Nationalism, which is a scary thing.
Neither one of them are good representatives of Louisiana, and I regret that they are in their current positions.

Yeah, that's what all the tweeters are saying, he's a fucking Rhodes Scholar and an ex-Democrat (isn't everyone?) who never used to put on that Party City cornpone shitkicker accent. It's different if that's just who you are. Be you, authentically.
Kennedy isn't authentic. He's a white man in whiteface. Wish could easily find examples of his real voice.
And none of that is as offensive as his forceable shoving an FBI agent back from the podium without being stopped or reprimanded, or as offensive as our media allowing him to do it without comment or rebuke.
The chain of command has been metaphysically severed when you allow shit like that to happen. Nobody is running shit, and the rest of the world sees it.
Whomever you thought he was back in the day, brah, he has obviously sold all the way out. He's a bastard. They have something on his ass, and he's fine with it.
Mike Johnson rubbed me the wrong way as soon as he took that call from Netanyahu after he became Speaker. Fucking bootlick. He ain't no Christian, and he ain't no conservative. A white nationalist (which is what Christian Nationalism is), sure, why not. But he ain't no Christian. He's a zionist putting Israel before the US or God. Israel is the AntiChrist and Zionism is the False Prophet sent to deceive believers and lead their souls to Hell. If Israel pushed for free abortions tomorrow, he'd push an enthusiastic argument on their behalf. Fuck him.
How many other Zionists are selling America out in our legislature?
I'm so pissed off at Elon, Vivek ... and Trump.

IB, Johnson isn't racist. Again, I know him. But he's VERY religious, and he's completely convinced that his particular interpretation of the Bible is right and everyone else is wrong. He is a true believer, and what motivates him is religion, not racism.

Sir: John. Kennedy. Is. A. Racist. He is not just a racist, but an unrepentent, proud one. That part isn't an act. That press conference gave me PTSD, what he did to Special Agent Duncan. He is not worthy of your compassion, sir. Fuck him, his mama and the entire Louisiana Legislature for not condemning him yet.
As for his religion, how many slaves did his family own? The end of Jim Crow must have been confusing and alarming for him. A true believer in Christ wouldn't be engaging in whiteface for votes. He is a Satanic, Whites Only, false scripture peddling dinosaur and I look forward to the next generation pissing on his grave.

IB, I don't know Kennedy's thoughts on race, we never discussed it. And I'm not sure what you're talking about regarding compassion. I only said that he didn't always sound like a hick, for example here he is during a 2008 debate where he sounds somewhat normal. I've never voted for him.
You also ask how many slaves did his family own, but I'm not sure if you're talking about Kennedy or Johnson. Either way, what difference does it make whether their ancestors owned slaves 200 years ago? Your ancestors may have owned slaves back then as well, but so what? No doubt all of us have ancestors who did things that we disagree with today.

She's a spokesperson who has to relay the official party line, not the creator of the line itself. She's the Assistant Special Agent, not the Special Agent. She was sent out there specifically to bear the brunt of the heat of the anger over this. She said what they told her to say.
And she was thrown under the bus a mere couple hours later.
And for all that, it STILL wasn't Kennedy's place to physically push her out of the way and take over the podium. The media should have ignored him and requested Assistant Special Agent Duncan back to answer the questions she was never given a chance to relay.
Kennedy wasn't giving the briefing, he had not been briefed on anything going on. He had no answers. He should have waited until after her own briefing was over.
Thomas Massie would never pull this shit.
As for 'not terrorism', it was Israel. Just like 9/11 and just like President Kennedy and just like the USS Liberty. Those men weren't terrorists, they were thrown under the bus by this country -- the country they all served faithfully -- so that others could grandstand without finding the real truth.

1. You're a compassionate person, and always have been. Unknown why you would want to enter law, but you never seemed to let go of that Atticus Finch part of what it means to be an advocate, which is wild. They didn't pervert you yet. I hope they never do.
2. Kennedy is a piece of shit.
3. I mixed up your recollections of Kennedy and Johnson, and went on a rant against Kennedy. That is my rage, and therefore my mistake. I'm not as angry at Johnson. I just think he's a pussy bootlick who will do anything for Israel and AIPAC, even if it means throwing American citizens in the woodchipper. Johnson is an interchangeable cog.
4. Thank you for the pre-whiteface clip of Kennedy.
5. It makes a lot of difference whether he owned slaves or not. Just like it made a difference with the lies Kamala and her father Donald told about family life in Jamaica.
6. Some of them were slaves, some of them owned slaves, some were Freedmen and some were aborigine. You probably know one of them.
7. I disagree with Kennedy and Johnson today. They don't represent Republicans well at all. Massie should be Speaker, neither the GOP or MAGA has the balls.
