Why make a lateral move at best? OSU has far more upside and money than does OU.

I think it has more to do with the personal reasons (the fiancé) coupled with the fact that he’s approaching retirement age and may not need to be in the game for much longer.
Curious that he would entertain being Venables’ d coordinator, given he is a defensive guy and probably won’t be as hands off as Day is at tOSU. Definitely a curious rumor.
