Sudden Sam wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 4:00 pm The craziest thing to me is that Philly never blitzed. They did all that damage to Mahomes and the KC offense with 4 down linemen.

KC has some work to do up front.

Also notable: 6 or 7 Bama guys on Eagles roster. Not a single Cal Bear. Shocking, isn’t it?
The Philles D Line should have won MVP. They were incredible.

I'll be fact checking you on the Cal Bears claim. Doesn't seem possible for a team to win without a few Bay Area natives or alums.
I know! Hard to believe. May be the first time it’s ever happened.

Perfect! NFL Cal alum won't have to travel far to make it to the stadium and find their seat.

Well, you got the shithole right.

Still around 400 miles off target.

I'll give you a hint. The most beautiful metropolitan area in the world.

I've got a feeling District 14 in Queens is going to nail this.

Holy shit. I was just sent a couple clips of the halftime show.

It cracks me up when I hear people refer to hiphop lyrics or rappers as ‘genius(es)’. Good god, the bar for genius must be the lowest it’s ever been.

Childlike garbage at best.

Chiefs Fire Their Refs

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Following a demoralizing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, news broke early Monday morning that the Kansas City Chiefs had moved quickly to fire their referees.

While the team's officials had performed well enough all season to contribute to a number of victories, the referees' inability to come through in the clutch when the team needed them the most led the Chiefs to believe a change needed to be made.

"They just weren't getting the job done, so we're making a change," said General Manager Brett Veach. "There are a lot of different positions on this team, and they all have a responsibility to do their jobs to help the team win. When one or more of the people in those positions don't perform up to expectations, it's tough to win. That's why we had no choice but to cut ties with our officiating crew. They had a good run for us, and we're sorry that it just didn't work out in the end. We wish them the best, and we'll be looking to add some new referees as we regroup for next season."
