I think you may have missed my point, or I may have not made it clear.

Private schools are not bound... theoretically, to scholastics.

I'm glad Vandy has taken a different path than $C, and actually understands what a "student athlete" actually means.

When you applied to Cal, were you a California resident or did you apply out-of-state?
