Horsepiss. Guess pre-season Denver sports talk radio couldn't clear the Front Range, eh? Guess your trailer needs a bigger arial.
On the other hand, Chef fans screaming that this indeed is "the year" are plentiful. Mix that with a "willie roaf means 10 points" to the offense idiocy and KC fan has indeed set the table for another inevitable "WTF happened" chorus ringing down from Arrowrock.
Keep scratchin', cat-breath. Let me know if you
really wanna debate Roaf's value, and I'll let you pick out the pattern on the plate that I serve your ass. And while it very well may be "the year" (guess we'll know in about 17 games or so) ChiefFan doesn't regard the Superbowl as a birthright, unlike many followers of the Blundering Herd.

Welcome back Truman, nice tune.
The Chiefs are just better than the Broncos even without Welbourne, Warfield and Shawn Barber who will all be back in a couple of weeks. It doesn't matter if they are playing at a stadium where the scoreboard tells the fans what to say, the Chiefs will win. It's funny seeing all the Haytah Faider fans jumping on the Donks bandwagon though. Dtownmike is a realest.

Mix that with a "willie roaf means 10 points" to the offense idiocy..
Howz about you "mix in" some facts (or even some mis-informed opinions) to refute that "idiotic" statement then, rather than your usual mishmash of non-sequiters?
Willie Roaf plays in that game last week, they would've have scored at least 10 more points. There are good reasons why the Chiefs were the top scoring team in the NFL last year, and they start at left offensive tackle.
I guess I shouldn't really expect much football knowledge from a wishy washy spud like yourself. Damned if ICSF isn't right about one thing. You
are one pathetic excuse for a fan. No wonder half the Donk fanbase wants you skinned.
Besides that, you root for a college football team that plays on a

This game is going to come down to this:
Can the Doinks slow the Chiefs ground game? - Maybe if Roaf doesn't play
Can the Chiefs stop the Doink ground game? - They've stopped Martin & Jordan so far
Can Plummer avoid stupid mistakes? - Probably not

For the record, anyone picking the Chiefs to finish with less than 20 points is taking a pretty big risk, and anyone picking them under 10 (Rayduh "cock holster" James) is a complete moron. KC hasn't been under 10 points in a game since 2001.

They pretty well stopped the Chargers running game last week- you know, the ground game that scored at will against the NYGiants last night. Denver's defensive weak spot is pass defense.
Can the Chiefs stop the Doink ground game? - They've stopped Martin & Jordan so far
Anderson is still nursing sore ribs & Bell is doubtful with a sprained ankle. But Ron Dayne will run the fuck over the Chefs, and KC has already proven themselves unable to shut down Griffin
Can Plummer avoid stupid mistakes? - Probably not
Probably not... but then they are playing the Chefs after all so it's not like he has to be Tarkenton or Stabler reincarnated.

Actually, Pinks, I could make Wags' argument for him ... although I'm not sure I'd attach any points to it.
Ten might not be enough.
Support?
Quite simple, actually. You have a HOF tackle anchoring one of the most dominant offensive lines in the game. A dominant line that makes its living running bread-and-butter plays off left tackle.
First and ten ... everyone knows what's coming, but with Roaf, Gonzalez, Richardson another pulling lineman, it's not easy to stop. Those first down runs often times turn into second-and-short, if not first-and-ten.
Willie Roaf helps our offense move the chains.
Without him, it boils down to a matter of execution. While Jordan Black is more than capable of holding down the left side, it's by no means a given that he will take his man out of the equation.
Suddenly, second-and-short becomes second-and-long when Black's man slides off the block to make a stop at the line. Or, even worse, Black jumps before the snap trying to get into position to block one of the best ends in the game.
What was once as close to automatic as you can get on the OL, now becomes unpredictable.
Roaf offers stability in an unstable game. Take him away and I don't find fault with the statement that you could also be taking points off the board.
Not tonight, though.
Chiefs - 27
Doncs - 24

It's quite simple really , even for you greenie. When Roaf's out they score less points, because they can't run the left side as effectively. When Trent drops back, he keeps having to look over his shoulder to see who's coming, rather than looking downfield for open receivers.
But since you're the one who called what I've seen with my own eyes "idiocy" and "nonsense", I reckon it's more up to you to disprove what I've said, than throw a lame generic label at it.
But you do what you gotta do.

Not sure, but I like their chances!!! They did a pretty good job stopping that Ladainian Tomlinson guy... 52 total offensive yards!
Roaf must have been on the Chargers roster Sunday night cause that Tomlinson guy ended up with 220 total yards and 3 touchdowns!

You'll get no argument from me that Roaf is one of the best offensive lineman in the NFL and the KC offense is much better when he's playing, but you both act like when Roaf's not playing there is nobody playing the position........there is, and from their numbers it seems he's filling in relatively aptly.......
The point is that to unequivocally state that Willie Roaf adds 10 points to Kansas City's offense is simply mindless drivel........

Willie Roaf isn't worth ten points to the Chiefs offense 'cuz he never gets in the end zone.

You either didn't read or didn't understand my point, Pinks.
The same could be said of the jet airliner that is able to fly along just fine in the event one of its engines should fail.
While it may be true, one of the engines failing ups the probability that another might fail and, in turn, crash said plane into the ground.
Run twenty plays off tackle on first down with Roaf in the game, and run the same battery with Black; the goal of both to be 6+ yards from scrimmage.
If it's not out of the question to assume Roaf's report would return a much higher percentage of successful plays, then why is it so difficult to fathom Kansas City, in turn, having a greater percentage of success on the score board with him as opposed to without?
I never said Kansas City got ten points on the board just from his presence alone; however, I'm not opposed to the claim that you could take ten points away from the final score if he's not part of the equation.
Much like a pitcher is always going to have more success throwing an 0-2 pitch as opposed to a 2-0 pitch, the same holds true for Kansas City on second-and-short vs. second-and-long.
Roaf makes the former much more attainable ... much more often. Play that hand out enough and it's going to equal more lights on the scoreboard.
Comprende?

I gotta say I'm impressed so far. But eeeeasy there, GZ2k2. It's only the first quarter.
Looks like the KC defense has improved, just not when it comes to stopping the run which the Broncos are definitely doing right now.

KC loks like they came totally unprepared to play at the level it takes to be competitive, much less win, in Dungver.
Quite disgusting so far. The play calling is as banal as it is ineffective.
