How that piece of shit harrison has got away with all his shit is beyond me.
He Took Green out on a late bullshit dive at his legs(in a preseason game to boot). He is always laying borderline late hits to the lower leg area.Or just barrels into the pile helmet first, yet not one time is he flagged.
In a karma laden world, Harrison would never walk again. And noone would even shed a tear for the cocksucker.

You have to match the statements in this thread with the posters instead of lumping others here into that herd. If you're expecting some folks on the board to stop jumping around pounding their chests following a win any time soon, you might as well grab a Snickers. Doesn't make them wrong, mind you ... they are entitled to their opinions.
That said, I'd like to think I'd bring out a better argument then that from you, Neely.
Records or who-beat-whom arguments have no bearing, either. My team's ability to run up and down a field has no bearing on my ability to offer up a take or seven on your team, or anyone else's for that matter. While I used to enjoy slugging it out in a never-ending series of debates, it gets quite tiresome when the first shot to come back across the net can be paraphrased as the following ...
"What's Chief fan doing running their yaps when you haven't even sniffed a playoff game in some xxx years."
Deflection in its simplest form. It's no wonder why we've devolved into name-calling and ankle-biting fits as of late. Most of our posters have forgotten how to defend their own points.
More than anything else, though, I'd say this is a calling card for lack of intelligence. In addition, it's probably a sure sign most will never know whether or not they're getting their asses handed to them in the first place ... so what's the point in responding? While it doesn't necessarily mean you're a neanderthal if you've ever used such a tactic (we all probably have at one time or another), it doesn't bode well for your Mensa standing, either.
There are a host of posters that have more than earned my respect over the years. Some for football knowledge, some for a talent for debate, and still others who have nothing to fall back upon but sheer grit and determination.
If there aren't sheer yuks involved (it's why we're all here, isn't it), this is what I look for before involving myself in a topic, and there are many folks here who likely feel the same. Worse yet, there are even more folks who have simply left the board due to the complete dumbing-down of our discussions here.
Wonder why you rarely see Trumans, velocets and Carl Spacklers in our midst?
I'd wager a guess it's not because they're too busy to mess with our kind. Rather, they're likely bored silly every time they log on to read yet another way to call someone else a cocksucker.
Third grade insults are entertaining in small doses, for certain; however, some of you seem unable to progress beyond that.
Insult me, my team, or my bretheren if you like, but at least put some effort into it next time.

Honestly Orc my comments were aimed at WW, but now that I look back and see you cheering injuries for my team then yeah I lump you right in with the rest of the shit I have seen. If it was just Harrison then maybe I wouldn't react so sternly but ya lumped Matt Light in there too. Real stand up guy there Orc. Please explain to me the venom for a guy like Harrison but the love from Raider Nation for Jack Tatum? Ronnie Lott hurt just as many and ended careers only he got celebrated for it. Rodney has had some hits that were deemed inappropriate and paid the price that the league has handed down. No different then any other player who has been fined/suspended. Why are some rewarded and others chastized? Must have been something he did to one of your guys? No chief player has ever doled out one or more questionable hits that were levied fines or suspensions?
As for my original post I simply stated that we came to Arrowhead last year and beat your team on the way to the 3rd of our Superbowl victories. I find it amusing that your fanbase is talking shit in a thread that has nothing to do with you and for a game two months away on the calender. I'm sorry but the Pats are in the midst of quite possibly the toughest 5 game stretch in NFL history so pardon me if we take it one week at a time.
Can you explain to me why a fanbase as rabid and devoted as yours would settle for waiting so long to taste sweet victory in even a championship game let alone a Superbowl? Don't you think you guys deserve better? You pack that place every week for 30 some years and what do you have to show for it? Is the banner still there? Did they even give banners out back then?
Ya see I am lucky! About 12 or so years ago a fan just like you and I bought the Pats and saved them from moving to St Louis. Bob Kraft saved this team and has subsequently built a 3 time Champion here. Sometimes change is good but if you KC fans are happy with the status quo then so be it. Enjoy!!!! If I were you I would feel a little cheated by now.....
Ill be looking forward to our clashes regarding the game on 11/27 but right now I have the Chargers to worry about. They really scare me whereas KC showed me all I needed to see tonight.....
Enough effort there for ya Cocksucker???
PS----I hope Richard Seymour snaps Trent Green's leg like a fucking twig......

You do realize even the best backs don't ALWAYS gain 100 yards? Barry Sanders, to steal your pathetic example, averaged about 7 to 8 100 yard games a year. The exception was the year he rushed for 2000 yards.
What I liked about Parker was that he took a whole bunch of 2-3 yard loses yesterday and turned them into 1-2 yard gains.

Props to the Patriots cart guy for making another appearance in the game.
I can understand your dismay after watching your guys get carted off the field, but this hardly qualifies as "cheering injuries for my team."
As for Harrison, I honestly have neither love nor disdain for the man.
Injuries happen ... and the game moves on.

Propping the "cart" guy because the Pats lost two starters would qualify in my eyes as cheering injuries for my team. What goes around comes around I guess so I will keep my eyes on the Chief injury report and prop whoever was responsible. Any answers to my questions?

Since most of them really concerned my opinions in the first place, other than a front-running jab, I'll take a pass. As stated previously, I'm pretty lukewarm on Harrison. While he's a tough, hard-nosed player, he's also had his share of questionable to downright dirty hits. Doesn't make him any less of a football player in my eyes; however, folks seem to remember those plays when they start piling up over the years.
My initial comment was a mere observation that your defense continues to lose players this season. While you're still getting it done with a bit more than smoke and mirrors this season, there's only so many notches any coordinator can take before talent overcomes schema.
A bit thin-skinned in this thread, you are. If it will make your day a bit brighter seeking some sort of Internet revenge for my cart guy sins, knock yourself out.
Won't bother me a bit.
Any questions you'd like to ask of me directly, I'll be more than happy to oblige; however, I won't speak for others' opinions or past transgressions.

This is the first game Willie's struggled, but the Patriots made the Pittsburgh OLine look average (says more about how great the Pats' Dline is). I am curious to see how he does against the Chargers. Their rushing defense isn't as good as New England, so he should be able to rack up more than 55 yards.

If Parker runs with the authority that he has shown in his first 3 games, another 100 yard performance is a lock. I'd like to see Roethlisberger start to pass a bit more often to Parker. He doesn't need to have LT like recieving numbers, but 4 or 5 targets a game would give him some chances to make big places in the open field without taking away from the overall game plan.
Like I said before, what I like most about Parker is his ability to make positve yardage out of a broken play. He may have only gotten 55 yards last week. But if Bettis or Staley had been in there, it would have been more like 35.

Harrison plays (or quite possibly played) every game like it was his last.

This pretty much explains why the Steelers lost.
On their first drive of the second quarter, Ben Roethlisberger threw a 49-yard pass to Antwaan Randle El inside the New England 15. Randle El tried to lateral to Hines Ward, but Ward couldn't handle it, and the Patriots recovered the fumble. Two drives later, the Steelers penetrated to the Patriots' 29, but came away with no points after a false start penalty on Barrett Brooks negated Reed's 47-yard field goal. And, in the third quarter, the Steelers got to New England's 11, but had to settle for a Reed field goal.
So the Steelers penetrated the New England 30 three times in the second and third quarters and came away with three points.
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05273/580236.stm
Two breakdowns cost them a minimum of 6 points. Poor execution and inspired defense by the Pats cost them the rest. 6 points would have been enough to render that last FG a moot point.
If I'm Cowher I never let this team forget that. Ever.

That's on Belichick to work with his team on. Cowher's job is to work on mistakes made by the Steelers. Randle El's hook and lateral attempt and Brooks' penalty were critical mistakes that directly cost the Steelers points and were totaly avoidable.
