Invitational war? Did you play Risk a lot in high school?
Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
This isn’t a game of Risk you dumbass. When has a President (or a candidate who essentially controls the HOR) ever openly invited an enemy nation to attack an ally? Or do you think that Putin is the actual ally? What kind drugs are you on, or maybe you suffered some kind of stroke?
Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
I guess you think that Trump is playing some kind of four dimensional chess or something. And he’s not even the President. He probably couldn’t compete a game of tic tac toe. Are you really that snowed? Do you think he actually won in 2020?

When was the last invitational war? Mikey, stupid and easily wound up is not a good look on ya.
Biden 2024 - no national security concerns there (unless you wander into his garage).

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
I don’t know. And I seriously doubt that you do either. But apparently you’re OK with Trump bringing on the next one. Why is that? You are one seriously twisted motherfucker.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
I’m not sure 88 actually knows meaning of “warmongering.”
Very strange because he used to exhibit occasional flashes of reason and/or intelligence. I think he’s been in Florida too long. With all that heat and humidity maybe there’s some kind of fungus affecting his brain. Now he’s grasping for any excuse, no matter how ridiculous, to bow down before the Orange god, the guy who actually wants to invade Mexico - at least he’s not a Democrat.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
Mikey,
Care to tell us what wars Trump started when he was in office?
The Middle East was as close to peace as it’s ever been. The had the Saudis playing nice with Israel.
There was no war between Ukraine and Russia.
Whether or not Biden invited that war is irrelevant.
It is here.
Russia and Ukraine were very close to a truce early on but the NATO countries told Ukraine to walk away from that Truce as we had their back.
Would Trump have done better?
Who the fukk knows. He couldn’t have done any worse.

I guess you don’t know the definition of warmongering either. Your attempt here at some kind of nuance based on unintelligibly convoluted logic, conjecture and non-facts falls completely flat, as per usualm.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
Warmongering is a bullshit term. It means nothing.
What actually happens is what matters. And Trump’s record of actually keeping us out of war is far better than sleepy Joe’s.

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
Tell that to 88.
We’re not “in” a war. And you seem to think that Putin wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if Trump was still President. You have nothing to base that assumption on. Trump probably would have said go ahead I don’t GARA. And you probably assume that if he did invade he’d be happy and would have just stopped there.
Pull your head out of your ass. He’s out to reconstruct the USSR or the Russian Empire or whatever. What would you do when he sets his sights on the eastern half of Germany?

Re: Trump/GOP bullshit
There sure the fukk is a war going on and we’re bankrolling it.
All brought to you by SJ or whoever the fukk is pulling the strings.
You can hypothesize all you want about what Trump would do. All we have to go is what he did, which was keep us out of war.

Someone needs to remind you about Biden's many actions that encouraged the war in Ukraine to grow larger and more deadly.

We are now more than $50B in military aide into the Ukraine/Russia war. And for what? Should I throw up some links where your man Biden and his team of elites predicted an ass-whipping offensive against the Russians this past summer?
I thought you were an old school California peacenik. Now you support forever war. Clearly, Joe Biden is your man.

We have warships/naval personnel/pilots/ground troops actively participating in the Middle East conflagration.

We have military personnel actively serving in the Israel-Gaza war (Yemen, Iraq, Syria, etc). Yes, the US has bases and facilities all over the world and often participates in missions to protect global commerce. That doesn't mean we're fighting in wars.Sudden Sam wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 4:29 pm You’ve got to be kidding. No, I’m not. If you don’t think service members’ lives being risked in attacks on enemies facilities means we’re in a war, you’re mistaken.
We should have retaliated after the first attacks on our bases and we wouldn’t have lost 3 kids. Iran’s proxies have backed off since we hit them.

OK, fair enough, but we're not fighting any wars right now and your claims to the contrary are false. Sam seems to have a lot of hairs to split. Apparently he doesn’t think that self protection is a legitimate concern. He would prefer that we didn’t take action against Houthi militants attacking commercial ships and our Navy with missiles. Except if we didn’t he would bitch about that too. Because…well…Biden.

Actually I’m pissed that we waited until we lost soldiers to respond to the attacks on our bases. Shoulda hit ‘em hard in the early days.
