Felon. Y’all love tossing that around.
Be honest. Is it worse to have the books altered 34 times or to spit on the Constitution? Or to enrich one’s family by charging for access?
Be honest. Who is spitting on the Constitution today.? Who is enriching themselves and family today?
Are you really this blind?
Apparently. Don’t see any signs of either.

And those last questions aren't just about President Felon & his family. Nor just members of his administration. Why didn't Biden trust the judicial system to work? Because the conservative wing of SCOTUS aren't just accepting bribes from wealthy conservatives, they are accepting bribes from wealthy conservatives WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COURT. Anyone who accepts such behavior has no business being a member of the bar.

The knock against that has been around for decades, it creates dependence.
Third world country in turmoil has some functioning agriculture, not enough but some. Aid group shows up, dumps thousands of tons of free rice on the docks and demolishes local production and it's impossible to get started again. It's a form of economic imperialism, people only started shouting about when they were looking into what 'Live Aid' was doing back in the day.
Teach a man to fish, etc.

I see your point, actually. And it’s a form subsidy for US farmers paid for by US taxpayers. They’re a big part of the Republican constituency who are always bellyaching about high taxes and giving shit away. I wonder how this will go with the farmers. Trump will undoubtedly find another way to pay them off.

According to Kevin Hassett, Trump’s economic adviser, they shouldn’t be killing the chickens because the chickens don’t spread the bird flu. After all, they can’t fly, it’s the ducks and geese that are spreading it. So really all you need to do make sure you have all the chickens fenced in and egg prices should come down.
Good thing we have some real experts working on this.

And from what I can gather they're still firing probationary federal employees for "poor performance," even when the workers not only have no bad reviews, but actually have all good reviews. That's going to cost the feds (read: us) a lot of money.

I don't know anything about this dude. I will trust Massie's judgement on this one, once he reveals it.

Bureaucrats in DC along with Biden's handlers had 4 years worth of graft and fucking up the economy. Trump's 2nd term has been a month. You must hold him in high regard thinking he could fix everything in 4 weeks. Get back to me in 4 years.

I didn't think he could fix everything in a month.
Bret Baier asked him directly when families could expect to feel economic relief.
Donald did not answer.

They would have all sorts of criticisms. And justifiably so.

Meanwhile, an opinion piece...
https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/gove ... r-AA1yPSVu
https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/ ... y-00203464
Voters Were Right About the Economy. The Data Was Wrong.
Here’s why unemployment is higher, wages are lower and growth less robust than government statistics suggest.
Before the presidential election, many Democrats were puzzled by the seeming disconnect between “economic reality” as reflected in various government statistics and the public’s perceptions of the economy on the ground. Many in Washington bristled at the public’s failure to register how strong the economy really was. They charged that right-wing echo chambers were conning voters into believing entirely preposterous narratives about America’s decline.
What they rarely considered was whether something else might be responsible for the disconnect — whether, for instance, government statistics were fundamentally flawed. What if the numbers supporting the case for broad-based prosperity were themselves misrepresentations? What if, in fact, darker assessments of the economy were more authentically tethered to reality?
If Kamala had won, how much more sunshine would Democrats be selling out of their asses?

This is actually good news for my son-in-law (works for the Bonneville Power Administration) who can spend some time bragging about what we did last week especially in light of the two old been there forever fucks who hate each other and had to separated...again.
But it is unnerving...and the upshot is the danger of throwing out the baby with the bathwater. You're going to lose talented young people who might end being experienced leadership for the next generation of workers, not just at BPA but across the Federal system.
