Well let's see...

We pay NASA 52 million dollars a day -- and we've been doing it for how many years now?

Lawsuits, jail time, and/or executions are in order.

That's a start.

Drain that swamp.

NASA should be shut down immediately.

YOU have been defrauded and robbed, 'spray.
YEAR-AFTER-YEAR, in YOUR lifetime.

NASA's cartoons and bullshit stories are a national disgrace.
They laff at you and rob you.
And many people suck their dick.
Heroes.

Pitiful.

In due time, all will be revealed.

When you are as closed minded as you are, you are correct that this thread will go no where. You claim to want to know what shape the earth really is yet you ignore all data for one point that doesn’t fit. You refuse to discuss simple points that support a globe model.

You cry over and over that you don’t have a model yet want to know. If this was true you wouldn’t run away from discussing things that support a globe model. You wouldn’t hide your head in the sand and instead would discuss things that challenged your belief. Further you would take things we know to be facts and try to model an earth shape that isn’t a globe but fits these facts.

This along with your statements above are why I think you are just trolling. On that note congrats you got me and a bunch of others.

If you aren’t trolling let’s discuss these points which challenge your assumption and help you find the truth. But the bottom line is if the earth isn’t a globe it has to be a shape and it is on you to prove the new shape. So open your mind, challenge yourself and start thinking.

You can start with the moon visibility question. Really think about it before you answer. Or don’t and prove my trolling point.

1. I assumed the globe (like we all have) from kindergarten up until I was in my mid-fifties. What I have done is OPEN my mind and CHALLENGE the globe.

2. The globe is VERY dumb. VERY.

Water lays flat. It certainly does not wrap around the outside of a ball as the ball whizzes and spins around. It ridiculous, and I have not seen anyone re-create this in an experiment.

The curvature is not there.

We are not moving and the bodies of water are flat.

3. NASA's stupid bullshit is the primary reason why people accept the globe without thinking about how DUMB it is. They continuously show you stupid cartoon pictures which they TELL you are CGI, etc. No rocket has ever gone to space. If it had, we sure as hell would have had video of it. And we would have had video of it many many years ago. The moon landings are preposterous nonsense that could NEVER happen and the ISS might be THE dumbest thing one could ever imagine.

I dismiss the globe, as it should be dismissed by anyone who cares to actually think about these things.

It is no gold standard that has to be accepted until some other model is proven.

It is a ridiculous joke of a concept.

People should wipe any idea of what they assume the earth is from their mind and begin to research this issue with an open mind.

Yeahhh...except when you squeeze out a drop of water from a dropper. It's kind of round then. Plus, there's this thing called "gravity". You might want to look into it, Mr. Open Mind. This is what prevents it and us from spinning off into space. Guy named Newton sort of proved this.

OK. Those formulae are possibly a reasonable estimation over a short distance (for the umpteenth time, a parabola NEVER describes the arc of a circle... pretty basic math).

Let's see...

8 (inch per mile, approx) x 70.14 x 70.14 = 39,357 inches

Wow, the earth curves at a rate of 8 inches (approx) per mile squared.

Who knew??
Dinsdale wrote:interesting.

Sounds like a pretty motherfucking stupid formula.

Congratulations on completely missing the point, as usualm.

The point being that water is not flat or round or a square or any other shape. It is malleable, if you will, it holds to whatever shape it happens to be contained in. Is a hurricane flat? Is water in a sphere flat? Water appears flat in a large environment, like a pool or lake or ocean, but that is due to GRAVITY. When it freezes, it can maintain any shape. Check out the ice in your glass of tea. Is that flat? No. Once you understand how gravity works, all else falls into place.

And I never mentioned Newton and the globe, idiot. He's the guy who established the idea of GRAVITY.

God you are thick.

Indeed water may seem flat. Let's not confuse the idiot with things like over a large span, water "levels" to average an equal distance from the earth's center. Or that the gravity (a concept he really struggles with) of the moon affects said body of water (no matter how small, but the effect can be infinitesimal in a small one). Or surface tension (even though he's probably seen a meniscus with his own eyes).

I mean, what he's ignorant of could fill volumes. But it's the "gravity" one that's currently cracking me up. It explains away most of his asinine "proof," on many of his tangents... but we can leave him dangling on the end of that string for at least a couple more years. This is too entertaining to dismiss just yet.

And his insinuation that the earth's atmosphere is a vacuum is especially sweet.

I'm too busy laughing at you to do the large amount of math it would take to calculate it (and it's not for lack of know-how). Way too many equations involved, despite how badly you want to keep squaring a number (I'd insert a rolleyes, if I didn't abstain from emojis) and call it good (which is such a complete and utter math FAIL, and children can explain why).

One word for you... "gravity."

I know, it's a tough one for you, since they didn't address it in your Book of Fairy Tales that you think explains science.

How about one where air clings to the outside of that ball "as one piece" as the ball whizzes and spins all around.

I know, it's a tough one for you, since they didn't address it in your Book of Fairy Tales that you think explains science.

The one showing water clinging to the outside of a ball as the ball speeds and spins through the air?

How about one where air clings to the outside of that ball "as one piece" as the ball whizzes and spins all around.

The atmosphere spins with the globe?

Do you honestly believe these things happen?
Have you ever stepped back and tried to consider these bizarre things?

You are a liar.

Lying out your ass.

You are a joke.

Your ass was kicked MONUMENTALLY.

Anyone who wanted to pay attention to our conversations saw it.

Moving Sale saw it.

Others, probably not.

Most are not interested.

Your stupid ass was beaten down comprehensively.

You have no clue about it, Seater, and that is exactly why you have FAILED to reply when I have asked you to verify the dimensions of the globe that you tell me is FACT.

Tell me the FACT.
