If Dumpy were serious, we would not see him pursuing this massive deficit spending bill that he is pursuing.
And we would not see him pursuing an utterly chaotic trade war with the world.
If Cheeto were serious, we would see...
1. A spending bill that reflects an earnest intent on getting out of control deficits under control.
And what you
think this man is trying to accomplish is not what he is really trying to accomplish.
You don't think Trump wouldn't cut spending bigly if he could get it past the swamp? Look at the activist neo marxist judges that thwart every attempt he makes at cost cutting (and everything else that needs fixing). Pols on both sides of aisle getting kickbacks from foreign Govts and billionaires getting products sold there...at the expense of the budget.
His administration is being hamstrung via lawfare on everything he ran on...again the will of the people thwarted by a few unelected neo marxists.
If he had the level of resistance that ANY prior President had with limited litigation frenzy, a lot COULD & WOULD be done. You're anger needs redirection.
Dude, just stop.
The R's have the Presidency, the House, the Senate, and a majority on the Supreme Court.
Dump's party OWNS Washington for the next two years.
Yet what we see is whining about Bidet, whining about the media, whining about "the deep state," whining about academia, whining about other nations, and total flailing regarding the tariff nonsense.
Just sack up and git-r-done.
Taco Don is a whiner extraordinaire.

A total folly.
A given country is unable to even
begin to discern what the U.S. trade position is, let alone make a deal on anything.
The U.S. positions and messaging has been so wholly inconsistent that nobody can determine wtf the U.S. even
wants.
Nobody can determine what is going on... and what will be going on tomorrow, a week from tomorrow, next month, next year, or five years from now.
It has been a total clusterfvck.
And now to top that off, the legality of the U.S. approach is in serious question.
From the perspective of another country, it would seem that the U.S. President has simply been carrying out a 2 month temper tantrum.
The obvious response to that is, "Well, just let him cry it out."
There will be no deals.
There will be war.

Mmkay maybe. I'm not here to explain what he is doing. I don't have supernatural access to his internal monologue. I'm pointing out there is a pattern to his methods. It's well understood. In a fukken book even.

It was written by Tony Schwartz.

It was not clear to staff whether he meant it literally or as a joke
I'll go out on a limb and surmise that it was perfectly clear that it was a joke.

Not sure about that. They seem to have a policy of “including” completely unqualified and ignorant sycophants to run important government agencies.

8 YEARS: Jail term for comic over his jokes
Brazil's Leo Lins 'is being treated like a drug trafficker'
A Brazilian comedian has been jailed for eight years and three months for making offensive jokes in a stand-up special.
A federal court in São Paulo said Leo Lins’s work contributed to ‘the spread of verbal violence in society and promotion of intolerance’.
The Brazilian government brought the case, saying the comedian’s material targetted black people, the obese, elderly people, those living with HIV, LGBT people, evangelicals, Indigenous communities, people from the impoverished northeast of Brazil, Jews and people with disabilities.
His lawyers criticised the ruling, saying in a statement: ‘This is a sad chapter for freedom of expression in Brasil.
‘Watching a comedian receive the same punishment as someone convicted of drug trafficking, corruption, or even murder, all because of jokes told on stage, is deeply troubling.’

Well, at least we still have the ability to damage children...
Illinois YMCA Hosts ‘LGBT Youth’ Camp With Group That Distributes ‘Tucking Underwear’
An Illinois YMCA is hosting an LGBT-themed camp for second graders alongside an activist organization that hands out so-called “gender-affirming” clothing items like “tucking underwear” and chest binders to anyone regardless of age.
The Stephens Family YMCA in Champaign will host “Camp Kaleidoscope,” a program designed for “LGBTQ+ youth or youth who are part of LGBTQ+ families.” The camp is offered at a “privately rented residential space” in partnership with Uniting Pride of Champaign County, an activist organization that distributes clothing items meant to alter the physical appearance of people who identify as transgender.
Two sessions will be offered: one for children in second through fifth grades in June, and another for kids in sixth through ninth grade in July. According to its summer camp guide, the program is run “in collaboration” with Uniting Pride, an LGBT “resource center” for Eastern Illinois that leases office space from the University YMCA in Champaign.
