First ballot Hall of Famer?

You sure you didn't mean to post Dan Fouts numbers?

Which were hella better than Drew Brees.
Yeah, kinda like Art Monks numbers against Lynn Swans.....

Shut the fuck up, Bri.
What the fuck are you talking about bitch? He posted the wrong fucking stats. If you knew as much about football as you know about conditioner, you would have picked up on that too.

B0D3=Art monk over Swann.

Those stats are not from a Hall of famer. I think I stated that after 8 years of Brees like production, that guy is still on the outside of the hall looking in. Felix was on the right track.

Those are Danny White's stats. Solid quarterback for many years. Had a solid line, solid tight end. Hall of fame RB. Hall of fame candidate WR.

Nothing stellar, just solid year in and year out production. Just not a Hall of famer like mvscal would have you believe after 8 or nine years of Brees like production.

It's the Hall of FAME, not the Hall of Good Stats. Shit like this makes you famous.

Monk should be in, but not at the expense of Swann. You're comparing apples and oranges.

HH,

I see what you were trying to say now.

Somehow this discussion moved from whether Brees is one of the top 5 or bottom 10 QBs right now to whether or not he's HOF material.

Aren't those sort of two different things?

White's very best season (whichever one that was) did not come close to what Brees did last year, and is on his way to doing this year. Statistically. I'd like to see annual rating totals for White's career. It's sort of obvious that it's too early to make any HOF predictions for Brees.

Keep in mind that White was a backup for Staubach. Not getting much playing time early on. Look when he took over in 1980 and start from there. His numbers are VERY similar to Brees. He also sat through two strike seasons in both 82 and 87. Your contention is that if Brees continues at his current rate he'b be a first ballot hall of famer. There are the numbers of a similar QB, surrounded by similar talent, who produced over an 8 year period.

He's not in the hall of fame... But Brees will be first ballot if he pulls the same stats?

And I'm full of shit?

Really?

White

1983 | 16 | 334 533 62.7 3980 7.5 29 23 | 18 31 4 |

Brees

2004 sdg | 15 | 262 400 65.5 3159 7.9 27 7 | 53 85 2

Dallas went 12-4, so did San Diego. Both lost in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Not similar?

Completely
Alright, skippy. Whatever you say. Keep selling your better than average QB as HOF material even when the numbers don't support that contention.

He's surrounded by talent and is performing well. But 8 years of that ain't gonna get him into the HOF.

Fuck the Hall of Fame.

If the HOF had any credibility, two-time Super Bowl winning QB Jim Plunkett would be a member. Not scrubs like Jim Kelly, Fran Tarkenton and Dan "I have a losing record as a starter" Fouts.

Dude had a breakout season last year, and is on pace again, and you've got him pencilled in for the Hall.

I don't remeber Aikman getting benched for flutie. How's that work?

I'll give you this, If Brees continues his current production for 10 more years, Wins 3 Super Bowls and ends his career in the top 20 of Pass yards and completions, I'll pick him up and drive him to Canton myself.

No. 23 picks is not similar to 7 picks.
Exactly. I'd like to see White's year by year QB ratings.

Good lord, I've never seen so many dripping douchebags determined to convince the world that their QB is the second coming of Johnny Fucking Unitas.

So now Brees is on pace to have an Aikman like career? Fucking ponderous.

How about he wins a single play-off game first? Or maybe get there two years in a row, that's no fucking lock at this point Chargerfan.

I made a simple point, that his numbers are very similar to Danny Whites and you silly faggots have started sculpting his bronze bust and writting acceptance speeches for him.

Statistically, he should leave Aikman in the dust.

You were completely off base with your comparison to White.

Brees plays a similar role as Aikman did except that he throws a little more.

That level of production is not a stretch.
AHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAA!

Fucking moron.
