I'd say it's more likely Discovery or Animal Planet Bode.

It really isn't any of your concern. It's up to the family. There are plenty of good educational and scientific reasons for airing the tape.
It is quite likely the only tape of its kind ever recorded.

Jim Rome does not want anyone to make jokes about Steve Irwin!

Anyone Listen Yesterday? I happened to catch Jim's Parental warning to his "Clones"
- calling it not funny to make jokes about a dead father, etc...

Congratulations to the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, who has done the impossible; he's made Michael Jackson look like a good dad. You know Irwin; he's that nut who tried to feed his one month infant to a croc recently? Nice. Like a croc can tell the difference between an infant and a chicken. They just see meat. Or as one of my radio listeners put it: 'baby, the other white meat.' A defiant Irwin refused to apologize until TV executives threatened to rip his show. Memo to Irwin, Siegried and Roy and that California couple that thought it could live amongst the bears: The tigers, crocs and snakes aren't bothering anyone. Leave them alone. Good Crocodile Hunter, bad Dad.

Call that crazy croc hunter Steve Irwin or whatever his name is, or Marlon Perkins, if he's still alive. Until they get that squared away, Go Crocs!

Queensland Premier Peter Beattie has said a state funeral would be held if the family desired one.

"The state funeral would be refused ... because he's an ordinary guy, he's just an ordinary bloke," Bob Irwin said at a news conference Wednesday outside the Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, where his son was the director. "He wants to be remembered as an ordinary bloke."

Bob Irwin told reporters his son and he were extremely close.

"Steve and I weren't like father and son, we never were," Irwin said.

"We were good mates. I'll remember Steve as my best mate ever," he said.

mvscal wrote:Yep. It is unique footage of an extraordinarily rare event. In just the little bit of reading I did yesterday, I came across accounts of two other people who were stabbed in or near the near the heart and both cases were fatal. (Are they aiming for the heart or is it just coincidence?)
not a coincidence ... Irwin did take unnecessary risks, but it was to promote conservation ... his heart was in the right place.

Dude, it's a "Man Funnel." Get yer Dins facts straight.

BTW, of all celebs that should die a horrible death (even though his was quick and painless... yes turds/tards, losing blood pressure that quickly means he might have felt the jab and that was it) Steve's love of all life was a great example for those to lay down their rocks and roadside bomb gear to enjoy life.

You see turds killing others that have no respect for life, then you see the opposite side getting whacked by a docile animal. I cannot imagine what the Oregon native Terri is going through.

"Terri, my prayer was this: I am holding you in my heart and just want you to know in this brutal world... that you have been hugged tonight."
