I can't make excuses for some of our more m2-ish and TREX-ian fans but I think you're seeing high levels of frustration from the better fans for three reasons:
1. This is the second straight road game in which two critical calls in the last minutes were blown both on the field and in the replay booth.
2. Misguided or not, we had high expectations this year, especially for Peterson. This may or may not hurt his Heisman campaign.
3. This could have been a landmark win for our young club.
That said, once all the guilty parties apologized, I immediately forgave and moved on. I wish Boren, Stoops, etc. would as well but they're slightly more affected by the mess than me.
