SoCals aren't quite "dweebs" per se.
Arrogant, ignorant, disloyal(this alone is a trait of that "culture" that you couldn't pay me to suffer through) and possibly the most self-centered, selfish people?
Sure, but I don't think I'd go so far as "dweeb." Nope, the Midwesterners pretty well have a lock on that.
Side note -- one of the big moving companies did a "very unscientific" study, strictly based upon the business they did, and they said there was actually a state that more people moved to last year than Oregon...
I hope North Carolina isn't just getting the dregs like we are.(Partied with a city engineer from Charlotte a couplefew years ago. Said he takes frequent field trips out here, to use our fine city's examples of psuedo-superior urban planning, and inprove upon that they think wasn't quite nails. Cool dude...can't remember his name to save my life...we got drunk, though, although I was disappointed that it wasn't at Charlotte's expense.)
