Back in the late fiddys when I was in High School, the New York football Giants had a formidable front four know as "RoLoMoKa"
I'm sure some of you can name Ro, Mo, and Ka, but if anyone comes up with Lo, you win a prize of my choosing...no googleing :D

the guy I was looking for was
THIS GUY who was traded from the Rams to the Giants for Rosy

Always cool to call pops and talk football, I think it made his day listening to the sound in his voice when he said ..... KA has got to be Katcavage, Ro, Robustelli ....
Admittedly I used the roster to check on Mo, but he was right there. He was equally as enthusiastic when I read off "John Lovetere" like "Eureka, that's him" ...But the years were off.
Anyway fun stuff. Thanks again.

LoVetere was truly a specimen in those days. Came to the Rams out of the service and made an immediate impact on the field and with the fans. The "Gentle Giant" tag fit him well. After the games at the colosseum the players had to walk up the "tunnel" to get out. Fans could wait and talk to those players who would. Merlin Olsen and Big John always stopped and talked as long as people were there.
When the Rams traded him to the Giants there was a huge outcry from the fans......however Rosie was not a bad pickup.

Plunkett never played in the WS.
He did make a Stanley Cup appearance though.
