If your problem is with California, have them elect politicians who will deal with the problem.
We're trying. The problem is the majority of voters in California are leech sucking liberals and keep voting in more and more welfare supporting wack jobs.
Some other stats:
From the L.A. Times
1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens
4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.
10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in L.A. County ).
(All of the above are from the Los Angeles Times)
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
Over 70% of the United States ' annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration.
29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

CAN'T.
STOP.
LAUGHING.
Hey trev... I notice you didn't link directly to the LA Times article that gave those stats.
Why don't you go ahead and do that, trev?
Go right ahead.
Did you happen to notice that some of those numbers cited represent a statistical near-impossibility, or are not so good at the maths?
Wait... instead of linking up that LA Times article, you should maybe click on this one first --
http://www.snopes.com/politics/immigration/taxes.asp
There's enough absolutely shocking, unacceptable,
accurate statistics involving the foreign invaders that no one should have to make them up.
Uhm, trev... just because it showed up in your inbox, it doesn't mean it's true. There isn't really someone in Nigeria who needs your help freeing up $10,000,000, either.

There's only 20 spanish radio stations in LA, not 21. My bad. A few other figures are a little off. Big whoopie. You still get the picture.

Just the first link that came up.

Of course, it doesn't have to be that way.
I have little doubt that the Chimp-in-chief thinks outsourcing is the greatest thing since sliced bread, or at least an inevitable result of capitalism. OTOH, you have Henry Ford -- certainly no socialist, he -- who thought it made good financial sense to pay his employees enough that they could also afford to be customers.
I'll take Ford over Bush any day, and twice on Sundays.

This just in :
Bushs immigration bill has failed. The senate voted it down.
What kills me is his reply on the defeat:
Congress really needs to prove to the American people that it can come together on hard issues," Bush said.
Uummm HELLO They did. It just didn't go YOUR way, asshole. They came together and decided that your piece of shit legislation granting amnesty to 12 million illegals was the wrong thing to do. Props to them. Good lord what a pompous ASS he is.

Here it is. It was pathetic to hear Bush use the same tired bullshit rhetoric about how his opponents on the issue were "harming America".
Maybe we can avoid electing a moron into office for the next few terms. I think everybody's tired of it now.

Yeah, the Republicans are finally coming around on Bush.
They're ready now to get behind somebody of real quality, integrity and demonstrable law and order credentials...like Fred Thompson.

Actually, yes. A majority voted against it 53-46. The article said they needed 60 votes in favor just to move it to a final vote.

That's an old chesnut, Terry - The Great War knocked down that sort of thinking. Rather than lower cost/reduce profit, you seek new markets abroad to dump your goods and provide service. Crises is averted by obtaining new buyers in non-capitalist countries.
Exogenous consumption =/= Imperialism.

RACK the Senate for actually being familiar with the word "constituents."
Congress is there to impose the Will of the People, not the other way around. I'm pretty sure that's how "representative democracy" is supposed to work.
The People grant the government rights, not the other way around. Never forget it.
I'd love to see criminal penalties for congressmen that vote against the will of their constituents. That's treason.

the Philippine economy, Bushice can have his adopted kid, regardless of his wife's recent reconsideration of said adoption?
