Hmmm... let me think...

Washington...

Oh, wait! That's the team that beat the team that absolutely SHITHAMMERED the SEC East champ, right?

That Washington?

Not that I'm one for the fatally-flawed Transitive Theory of CFB, but... Kal POUNDED the SEC East champ. Washington did up Kal with relative ease.

BTW-How do you "almost get plastered" by a team you beat? This should be a rather SECesque explaination.

By an AD who thought cupcaking was a good idea.

I do agree it's a travesty that Kansas got a BCS bid.

Neither KU or Mizzou deserved a BCS bid. Fucking cupcakers that lost every game to every decent team they played.

Makes a mockery of the system.

mizzou played illinois and ole miss on the road. about 3% of teams played a tougher ooc schedule than that.

Oh shit... I forgot about Ole Miss.

They won the SEC West, right?

J/K. I'm just messing with you. Everyone knows they were just a victim of the Meatgrinder, and would have gone 8-0 in the Big10.

but only 8-1 in the pac.

i know miss isn't very good, but it's tougher than playing four central connecticut states, or even one appalacian state. michigan played vanderbilt last year, which was nearly guaranteed a win as a game against western michigan but a lot more defensible when it came time to argue bcs merits. if texas, florida, osu, etc. were to schedule one or two games like that they'd most likely finish with just as good of a record though with a MUCH higher sos.

You must live on a different planet than the rest of us.

Just stop, before you dig that hole of stupidity even deeper.

YOU, telling me to contribute something to this thread???

Irony....thy name is Goobs.
Hey, you fat fucking retard, you entered this thread in response to my post about Hawaii vs Georgia. You offered nothing in response to my suggestion that Georgia was going to get shit-hammered. So tell me, lardass, exactly what have you contributed so far?

Yeah, you'll notice I mentioned that I don't go for the "fatally-flawed" Transitive Theory of CFB.

But see... it's all we have to go on when discussing the SEC, BECAUSE THEY WON'T FREAKING PLAY ANYONE.

Wait... Tennessee played someone... and got their ass kicked by the #7 team in the PAC10.

What else do we have to go on? A bunch of inbreds chanting "meatgrinder" ad nauseum?

I dunno...

I live on the planet where Mizzou and Kansas lost every freaking game against a decent opponent... obviously, they played each other, so one of them had to come out of there with a victory... and the least crappy team did.

But go ahead and list those "quality wins" for either team. Since they both suck, please refrain from mentioning KU for Mizzou... TIA.

Of course, if they didn't cupcake it, they would have found out much earlier what happens to them when they decide to play someone halfway decent.

Yeah, but that's not consistant with my point.

Although I think Illinois got better as the season went on. Zooker is doing well.

This is probably the main reason I'm pissed at tOSU's AD. Sure we schedule OOC Texas, USC, Oklahoma, VaTech and that's pretty cool. But there's a huge drop off after that, and I think it would take minimal effort to get North Carolina's AD on the phone. Iowa State. Ole Miss. Stanford. Basically, any BCS school even if they're a lower-tier program. Looks much better than Youngstown State or New Mexico State.

USC seems to be the only team doing this the right way and on a consistent basis.

Illinois, Ole Miss (one of those ALMIGHTY SEC teams, in their house), AT Colorado (first win there since 89) and AT K-State (1st win there since 91) sez you're a fucking idiot and a hater.

Carry on with your diarrhea of the mouth.

Illinois, maybe, but Colo, K-St., and ole miss, I don't think so.

You do realize that Ole Miss didn't win one freaking SEC game... right?

And what does that say about Mizzou that an SEC team would schedule Mizzou "in their house"?

You do understand the running joke about SEC OOC scheduling, right?
