I still have mixed feelings over the results. I have been a fan of both teams since I was a kid, moreso the Gmen, but the prospects of a perfect season had me leaning slightly to the pats.

There is one definite bonus though. A friend of mine who is a complete New England homer, sox and patsies, will not be calling me with his WE did it!!!! take.

That shit makes me wanna kill whomever uses it.

It's "they" you gravytraining jack s.

I was pullin' for the Pats mainly because my sister-in-law is from New England and she had my nephew decked out in all Pats gear for the game. Oh well. Major props to the G-men for getting after Brady. It was apparent he was never comfortable in the pocket. Great ball game.

At the beginning of the 4th quarter, my wife asked me how I was doing with "my squares" from the office pool:

NE 9, NY 9 -- NE safety, 2 NY FG, loser
NE 2 NY 8 -- impossible, loser
NE 5, NY 6 -- need a NE TD/2pt conv, and NY FG, loser
NE 4, NY 7 -- Well, it's possible, but I sure as fuck hope it doesn't happen.

$100 per quarter. $100 end of game. I am donating the $200 to the MSPCA. Or I may just sit here in my office and burn it. Undecided.

The way the game ended brought out a grin from me. The Brady-to-Moss TD at the end of the 4th quarter seemed like it would be the perfect fit to an undefeated season. It's what the media salivated for. THAT was the story book ending. That's what was SUPPOSED to happen - Brady leading the game winning touchdown drive, to an open Randy Moss in the endzone. Then Eli and co. marched down the field and stuck their collective dicks in the HypeMachine that created words like "fate" and "destiny." Bwahaha. That's the best part about the Giants win, in my opinion.

I had that square and I had the NY 3, NE 0 square. It paid $500 a quarter, no end of game though. Not a bad night. Too bad Mrs. Rumps wanted me to give her half of it so it would recoup some of the cost of my big birthday bash on Saturday. Fucking awesome that she wanted me to pay for my birthday party. Needless to say, we're not speaking right now.

Fucking cunts.

Enjoy the investigation and Senate hearing you're soon to be scheduled for as well, Belicunt. I know the rest of the country will be.

Is it too early to call a yearlong Belicunt suspension and an entire draft ripped from the Astericks once the allegations are proven true?

Mrs. Rumps wanted me to give her half
I'd hope so. You'd need to slam a few energy drinks in order to tackle all that at once.

You forgot the part where Bruschi and Seau practically tounged each other in celebration after that TD. That was the best part, the storybook ending.

Nevermind the fact there was over two minutes left and they had to get their old, decrepid asses back out on the field and try to make one more stop.

Oops.

Props to the Giants and their fans. A really awesome game. Not quite the ending I had hoped for, but what can you do. They outplayed us, and it showed throughout the whole game. Not much more that needs to be or can be said. They won and they deserved it. Props Muchobulls!!

Never thought I'd say this but Rack the Gnats for beating the snot out of the Cheatriots and giving the NFC Bode over the AFC. Fantastic way to represent the toughest and best division in all of football.

Well said, Todd. Works for me.

Might I just add:

The way I see it is that it is Gisele Bundchen's fault.

Tom should have been spending his time watching tape and concentrating on football instead of spending time with Gisele in NY durring the playoffs and before the Superbowl.

During the twenty minutes or so of the 7 fucking hours of Superbowl pre-game that aired, I watched an ESPN interview with Cooper. Turns out that dude played on the same team as Peyton and was an all-state wide receiver in Mississippi. He was expected to get a slew of Div I scholarship offers, like his brothers got, but during his junior (or senior...I forget) season, after being tackled he had an odd tingling sensation in his limbs. He went to the doctor and found out that he had a narrow spinal column. Football career...DEAD.

Rather than sit around and feel sorry for himself, like many schmucks in the same situation would, he went into business instead. He now makes major bank as owner of a gas and oil exploration company.

So if you ask me, Archie's pouch is batting at least .900.:D
