Stumbled over from Rome's website, must have been around 1998.

One of the funniest things I remember from back then was DCSmackmaster's [invis/mem + password] hoax. That shit had webdog going nuts.

Met some of the peeps at the golf stop in San Marcos ('sup CM, LAX and uh uh who was our fourth?). Had a great time on that occasion. Found out that Meds was actually pretty a cool guy (he brought the Guinness).

Apparently, C-Mike took those pics down. That's a pity, but I seen 'em, committed those faces to memory, and put a new line-up in it's place.

Jay, you hang with some upright dudes. Consider this my peace offering and oh so appropriate to this thread.

My buddies and me are getting real well known, the bad guys know us and they leave us alone

You were right, btw.

Jim Rome show.

Always preferred Scott Ferrall to Jim Rome, but the callers and Rome's interaction with them was funny and fresh at the time.

It's all good W.W., always has been. I don't know why C-Mike took the pics down, they weren't a big deal. Perhaps a higher authority buzzed his ear.

I am curious to know what you meant by saying "you were right".

Something told me yesterday that he would think twice about keeping those pics up. Thank God for right click/save as. ;)

You know, that's the first time I've ever seen a picture of Portland's Finest. My guess is that he got wind and CM obliged him. But I could be wrong.

Me too.

And I swear I've met that guy somewhere before...

Wait, he used to be a Portland cop... ouch.

But, if bracelets were involved, my memory would be much more vivid, so I guess we're cool.

If I had only had access to the pics CMike teased everybody with, I could have had a whole lot more fun.

The debate over Led Zep and Pink Floyd being the best ever rock bands.

You mentioned the Beach Boys and Stones having more influence and it was just a matter of opinion.

You were right... about the matter of opinion.

OK. You both brought the Guinness. And Freeze was our fourth. It was a friggin' crackup watching the Coach trying to teach Freeze how to hit a golf ball.

I wasn't that far removed from college and used to post at one of the lesser known sooner message boards. It had numerous splits, issues internally, so forth. During one of the numerous periods where it was rumored to soon be shutting down a number of Sooners asked if I would like to post with another group they had found on the web for my football and religious takes. Some of them aren't really even around anymore such as WaZ and Lizard King, but I have remained. I almost stopped at one point because of all the BS on the family of boards after SCIII but PSU and LK talked me into sticking around when PSU created Scobode... shortly after that this place was born.

I was working nights around the same time, and listened to the night show pretty much from the start. Actually JR was doing updates for Hacksaw a while before (he kept picking the Bills to win the SB). I first registered at SCII, and have had this nic since SCIII.

SmackChat III in 98 as Carson in The Gump. Ahh memories...

Trollatollah's visual beatdown of Beantown Basher and somebody else.
MCET wiping his ass with that gargoyle.
Hulk ass-raping somebody in the first animated image I had ever seen on a message board.
