For all any of us here know dude could have called Blount an N bomb
If Lagarrett(sp?) has even half a brain he gets ahold of the NAACP and makes that claim, let them get on the NCAA and Oregon. Isnt Obama married to the basketball coach at Oregon, how is he going to feel about a black student athlete at his brother in laws school being called an N bomb by a fat cracker after his team lost a game? For fucks sake it's Idaho, the most racist state outside of the south and their players are dropping N bmombs on opposing players and then getting dropped like a bitch after saying it.
A young African American student athlete gets thrown out of college football for standing up for his entire race against an oppressive white devil who so cowardly runs up on him when surrounded by his boys and instigates a scuffle by taunting him with racial slurs and then drops like a Carolina trailer park wife off a single right cross.
Blounts a victim, reinstate him, right after the game vs USC

Obama's brother in law coaches at Oregon St, not Oregon.
Sam's right. Way too many witnesses, plus we have video of the incident. If need be, the video of Hout's mouth moving could be broken down to prove he wasn't dropping any n-bomb.
Also, if Hout had dropped n-bombs, Blount would've already been screaming it from the hilltops, and his teammates would be backing up his claim.
Their silence is deafening.

Blount might still be playing, if it was one thing...
But he cheap shotted an opposing player... punched a teammate... and went after fans...
He truly hit the douchebag trifecta.

That's exactly what I said, basically. It wasn't just the punch. It was the complete meltdown that followed.
And Spray, while I won't go as far as saying I've defended Blount, I did say Hout deserved it. Should Blount have done it though? Absolutely not.

deserved what, getting sucker punched because he threw some trash talk out? You don't know what he said, and neither do I. It's interesting that Blount claims he didn't hear what Hout said, so apparently Blount just thought thugging out on the guy was the necessary reponse to being tapped on the shoulder pads....

As I said in one of ther other 20 threads from that game (thanks, mJew

), Hout did not deserve getting punched for talking shit. As soon as he put his hands on Blount, game on. Trash talk, even dropping an n-bomb, is never just cause for physically assaulting someone else. Hout pushed him. If someone pushes me, I may not give them a right cross, but I damn sure am not just walking away as you obviously expected Blount to do.
Hout was being a bitch, shoved Blount and got smacked for it. SHOULD Blount have reacted that way? No, I have said many a time. But Hout deserved a smackdown and he got it and Blount has gottena just punishment as well.
We all win, terrorists included.

88,
I disagree. Oregon suspended him from games, but said he could still practice with the team. That WAS the bone they threw him. They gave him an opportunity to work out. They gave him an opportunity to stay in shape and even in football form as a practice squad guy. He would have been ready for the NFL draft. If he’s a model citizen, who knows, they may reinstate him. Remember, it was an internal suspension, not from the NCAA.
How did Blount respond? He didn’t show up to practice Monday. He still has a “future” should he want one. He still has his scholarship. Think he’s going to take advantage of that and get his degree? My guess is hell no. He’s going to live the life of a thug he was born to live. He had his chances (yes plural) from Oregon. I don’t think the season suspension is out of line. Would I have been ok with a 6 game suspension? Probably, but the whole season is ok in my book too.

Well, that's his choice. And at least Oregon gave him the choice. He has no one to blame but himself....and George Bush.

It wasn't a sucker punch, if youre going to run up to someone, hit them on the shoulder, talk shit and then turn your head real fast to see how many of your boys you have to get your back, you werent sucker punched, you were just too big of a pussy to look a guy in the eye and wait for his reaction to your hit and comment. had dude been minding his own business and then Blount ran up from behind and hit him, thats a sucker punch, if you instigate some shit and then turn your head real fast, you deserved to get it knocked off.

here's the deal...if Blount doesn't start running his mouth in the Sports Illustrated article about Boise State deserving an "ass-whooping" none of this would have happened....Hout would have never said anything to him at all.....the sum and total of BSU player comments to the press before the game was by Kyle Wilson...the entirety of his statement was "we'll be ready"....so if Kelly would exercise some common fucking sense and not let his players talk shit to the press, all of this could have been avoided....instead, Blount opted to provide lockerroom fodder for the BSU guys and Oregon got their asses handed to them....can't say if I was 21 years old and in the same position, I wouldn't have done something similar....Kelly should emulate Petersen (and a whole host of other coaches with similar don't talk to the press philosophies) and let his players do their talking on the field....it's a recipe for diaster
seriously bud, you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to defend Blount's actions so adamantly...but then again, given your schools history I can see why

Im not defending his actions, what happened after he dropped that pile of shit from Idaho was horrible and was more deserving of discipline than the hit itsself, just saying it wasnt a sucker punch.
Boises player instigated the confrontation, you can not run up to somebody and hit them, then talk shit and because you turn to run real quick, before getting hit back, call it a sucker punch.
Thats a simple fact

doesnt matter how hard he hit him, touch not lest the be touched. Boises player instigated the confrontation therefore it wasn't a sucker punch. He just turned around like a little bitch to see who had his back instead of waiting for Blounts reaction.
If I run up to you in a bar and hit you on the shoulder and then talk shit at you then turn my head right away before you can hit back, it would be the same thing.
Blount was over the line with swinging at his team mate but thats about the only thing I can blame him for in that situation, punching the dude that hit him first is acceptable.

so what you're saying here is that everytime one player from a team taps and runs some smack at another player from a different team, said player is intitating a "confrontation" and the offending player should anticipate a right cross thrown after the offending player has turned away......gotcha
and from a purely pragmatic position you're right, Blount's punch was more akin to a "bitch move" than a true "sucker punch" based on the Urban Dictionary definition of both....good catch

what im saying is if you run up to somebody when the game is over, hit them and talk shit to them, expect them to retaliate. The bitch is the one that was dropped by a right cross

Shove him, push him, tap him hit him, poke him..doesn't matter. You're so caught up in the terminology here you fail to understand you don't make contact.
You do that exact same thing to a police officer while he is on duty, what happens? Cop will allow you to run your damn mouth for quite some time before he does anything. You touch him, different story. What's your next argument I called a police offer a cop while he's not REALLY a cop because a cop is a Constable on Patrol? I got absolutley NO skin in this game. Hell, I'm glad Boise beat Oregon. I'm always for the underdog (yes I know BSU was favored).
That bitch got slapped as he should. He taps/pokes/shoves/hits Blounts shoulder, talks some shit and looks around like "see what I said?" POP! Bet that glass-jawed cunt never does that again. And as I've said like 10 times, Blount got what he deserved too. Some may thing the whole season is too much. I look at it as a 6 game (minimum) to a rest of season (max sentence) was appropriate. Just as if someone can get 5-10 for car theft and they get the max. He got the max as his penalty and I am ok with that. I could see Peterson giving Hout 1 game to set an example on sportsmanship, but I'm ok with the wind sprints or hills he probably had to do. Hell, the fact he's posterized on youtube as a bitch is actually punishment enough. He's Robin Ventura now.

dude, I acknowledged long ago that Hout was in the wrong for touching him, especially someboy like Blount with a history of violent reactions....that cat needs to take some serious anger management classes
but saying he deserved to get SUCKER PUNCHED (yeah that's right sucker punched) is pretty much supporting a bitch move....but whatever dude, it's done....

its not a sucker punch if you instigate a conflict and then turn your head to see who saw you do what you did. Hout got dropped like a bitch but it wasnt via a sucker punch. Had Blount just ran up to him and hit him first, thats a sucker punch, you hit someone and talk shit, expect retaliation.
It wasnt illegal or criminal because Hout hit Blount first and if you watch the videos may have spit on him as well. I dont care where I am, grocery store, wifes church, DMV, anywhere and i dont care if your wife and chjildren are with you, if you lay hands on me, spit at me and then talk smack Im going to fucking blast you with what ever I can find and since you instiugated the confrontation and laid hands on me first, it would be legal.

Hout didn't hit him, he didn't spit on him, and Blount's actions are legally worthy of prosecution.

i can't believe you cuntz are arguing about this. that honkey put too much faith in social graces and got the fist that any half-cognizant human being would normally expect. when i'm down south in some hillbilly biker bar, and i call someone a bitch, no one's going to hold off on beating my ass because i turned around.
frisco's right: dude that beats the shit out of someone else is going to jail, but but the bitch that instigated it should have known better. it's the reason baiting exists in sports. or why, as a teacher or a referee, you always catch the retaliation and not the instigation.

pretty smooth to mock hypersensitivity with your own particular brand of it. i think context makes clear when that's a suitable term, as we have here with blount.
