Texas dodges a couple bullets there...Franks was very close to being out of bounds and the fact you can't advance a muffed punt keeps the touchback out of play. Texas has a golden opportunity to gets some points before the half...

Wow, they're calling it a muff, which can't be advanced - wtf? why not? - and Texas ball at the OU 18.
Either way that was the big, flukey play Texas needed to get back into it. Now, can they do anything with it?

Texas going backwards...
Jesus, has Texas been playing nothing but D1-AA teams so far? Their O-line looks like they haven't seen a BTPCF D before.

That was nearly a Pick Six...
McCoy lucked out there. The OU DB had clear sailing.
This game looks like a really good cook put together a bunch of great ingredients to make a really great cake, only to have Sparky Lyle sit on it naked.

Ok, can somebody recap for me? I saw Texas recovered a fumble for a TD, then changed the channel, changed it back, and see they have 0 points. What happened there?

How the hell do you get a delay of game after a timeout? COMPLETELY UNDISCIPLINED

Did I really just see Texas come out of their own called time out...and get a delay of game penalty??
No fucking way.

It was ruled a muffed punt, recovered by Texas at the 18. Muffed punts can't be advanced by the defense.
Texas then shat on themselves offensively, settling for a FG.

They wanted to move themselves out of field goal range too...those were points by default.

Another special teams miscue...OU's defense has to bail them out again.

OU is doing everything possible to keep Texas in this game. They just fumbled the kickoff, with Texas recovering.
Texas ball on the OU 42.

Almost ANOTHER Pick Six, on the first play...
Jesus, Texas should just punt right now. Their best chance of scoring is when they're on defense and special teams.

McCoy's lucky OU's Clayton isn't his leading receiver today.

Almost another delay of game penalty on the Texas O.
This is just ridiculous.
3rd and long again...
Cute Texas cheerleaders...
Texas completes a sneaky play with the TE faking falling down before getting up and catching a 1st down pass.

Ooops. McCoy fumbles after a long run. OU recovers in the end zone for a touchback.
That's a fumble. Ball was out.
MSU-Auburn indeed.

Watching either of these teams attempt to run a conventional running play is like watching old people attempting to punch out a small shit.

wow this game is really unwatchable right now. Texas keeps shitting their pants on offense and the Texas defense is really keeping them in it.

That play was perfectly symbolic of this game...
-OU calls a stupid end around play from deep in their own side of the field...
-They fumble it, of course...
-Texas can't manage to fall on the ball for a TD, despite having two defenders there, and first crack at it...
-OU can't manage to at least fall on it in the end zone, for a touch back...
-OU ball on the one foot line...

Reminds me of when ESPN's noon ET game used to be the Ivy League.

This has been the funnest cripple fight I've ever watched. It's more like a bum fight, actually. They're both trying like hell, but they're both juist sloppily lurching around, throwing half-blind haymakers.

All I can hope for is for Texas to actually lose this game. If they somehow win and go undefeated whoever, wherever the bowl game is, Texas will get throttled.

Texas is nearing FG position to close the half, which would be perfect. This game deserves 6-6 at the half.
Oops, the Texas receiver didn't get out of bounds, and Texas has no time outs left, so there goes the chance of the FG attempt.
Moe slaps Curley one final time before the final whistle blows.
6-3 at the half. Incredible comedy of errors first half.
