I still hate Scott Shafer!!! :hfal:

The defense was not the problem today, yeilding only 11 points.

I'll withold judgement on Robinson until such time as he has more than 2 upperclassmen starting.

Rack Brandon Graham...dude is a beast.

Lotta red in that photo. I thought it was "THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS?" Not a lot of staying going on with Dick Rod's program.
So you are suprised with the amount of "Costco" Buckeyes at the Big House? Really? Think about it bro, Back to back abysmal years at Michigan, and a fan base that travels well and will spend everything on their bridge cards to see their beloved team play Michigan....sounds like easy money for a lot of season ticket holders to me.

I think OSU has more fans not affiliated with the school than any other....not that it's wrong, but they are a rabid fanbase and will go to greater lengths to see the Buckeyes play than any other fanbase I've seen. They travel well, props to them, look at the games the last few years at Texas, SC, the BCS debacles. Had UM been playing for anything more than a Little Caesars Bowl appearance, UM'ers would have held on to their duckets. Ticket Value is a matter of perspective...UMfan sees a team with little hope that was last ran all over by a shit Purdue team a couple weeks ago. They can unload their tickets on craigslist for a couple hundy per to some rube from Youngstown and either have a fine night out instead or use the windfall towards next season's return to glory campaign. Seems logical to me. Hell, I once bought 4 rosebowl tickets and sold 2 of them on ebay and paid for my entire trip to Pasedena.....fuck yeah!!!

the crux of screw's issue here is bandwagoning. sorry, umich fans aren't bandwagoners. all in for michigan or something, not to mention i've always found it a basic courtesy to stick around for 20 minutes after an ass whooping to watch another team and their fans sing their alma mater.

well I agree OSU has a lot of non affiliated fans...but not as many as say Southern Cal, Miami...etc...

but maybe I am wrong...I have traveled to BCS NCG against LSU, USC last year, USC this year, and countless OSU/Michigan games in C BUS (best one 2006)...will be headed to Miami of FLA in 2011, CAL (yeah have pity on me now)...and hopefully Norman in the future...

but I am a graduate/alum, etc...so whatever

Well I know that many Michigan players were critical of Boren...

I know Boren had a pretty good game...absolutely PANCAKED Martin on Saine's run...good for the kid...

also, Michigan fan...question on your thoughts of the QB coming in next year...does he push for early playing time? Will he be there in time for spring?

Gardner will not be in AA early, not sure but I think it has to do with Michigan HS's not allowing early graduation, I could be wrong. Gardner will play as a freshman, more than Robinson did this year. The sooner he gets the bulk of the playbook down the sooner he takes over full time. If Tate starts pissing down his leg and Gardner relieves him and wins a game....that will seal it imo.

absolutely tackled graham on saine's 14 yard run that started their first td drive. should have been 1st and 20 there.

otherwise, it was really only graham who was openly critical of boren. graham's allowed to say whatever he wants, though.

i disagree a bit here with steve. i think they're going to try everything in their power to redshirt him. they stick video of him up on mgoblog all the time: i have no clue about evaluating hs qbs, but he doesn't look ready to play against big 10 defenses. qb play has been a big issue since dickrod's been here, and at some point he's going to have to move toward a bit of experience.

then again, it seems dickrod's easily seduced by speed, which is why he continually insists denard can play qb. that would point to a temptation to get gardner in there, though i think two losing seasons may finally bring dickrod to his senses on this one.

Huh?

East Bay is absolutely lovely, in its entirety. (although Berkeley is a little nicer than the rest... but a side-trip to Richmond is always a hoot.)
