Another University of Wisconsin school. Going for their third title in 4 years.

I saw Whitewater in the playoffs back in the early 90's and was impressed with the size of their offensive linemen and running backs. Christ, it looked like the Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison and my alma mater was no match for them. I've also seen another or maybe two Wisconsin Div III schools when they've played in Iowa. You grow them big up there....must be the brauts and beer.

If I saw a spread formation grabbing my junk, I would say that's fucked up and leave it at that.

Even D1A gets tired of watching the same teams win D3 every freaking year.

My Linfield Wildcats lost... after extending their all-level CFB record of consecutive winning seasons to a jaw-dropping 54.

And what's up with D3? Seems like it's rigged, and only teams that wear purple are allowed to compete for the championship.

I didn't make it to a Linfield game this season, even though my old buddy lives right up the street from there. Pacific started playing football again this year. Lewis & Clark (sup Monica Lewinsky) also plays in the NWC, but they really suck, which is too bad, since that's a few minutes from home for me... and they have the worst field in the history of CFB (although I haven't seen it lately, but they were playing on grass not too long ago, and the field is in the bottom of a bowl/depression/drainage -- not really a winning combo for U&L ball, although I heard they were trying to fix it).

I have to correct something here. I saw them play Simpson College in 1988, not the early 90's, at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines. I had to check the Wisconsin WW website to be sure, but they beat Simpson by 2 points and then lost to Central College the following week. I attended both of the Iowa schools and graduated from Simpson. Two of my former high school baseball players were wide receivers for Simpson that year, which is the main reason I went to the game......that and going to Sully's Irish Pub with friends following the game.

I watched most of the Whitewater game while hosting a graduation party for my wife (Registered Nurse she is now). That game was extremely entertaining, more so than the Dolphins-Bills/Browns-Bengals/Titans-Texans games I saw parts of today.

I really like this thread. Props to the BTPCFB honks for energizing this dump.
