The sports bar I was watching the games at has a "mercy rule", so I didn't get to see the end of the Bills/Queefs game. Did Haley do his prissy finger wag at handshake time?

I don't know. Pretty much the entire Pittsburgh roster and coaching staff didn't realize they were playing their bitter fucking rival until this morning.

I want to say I'm licking my chops for this coming Sunday after seeing the turd the Chiefs laid and solid effort from the Leos against Tampa but it's so cliche to assume how a season is going to go after a single week in the NFL. The Lions crushed the Bucs in time of possession and wore them out in the 90+ degree heat in Florida. The ground game still isn't very good altough Best can pop a big play here and there. The offensive line played well but is proned to dumb penalties. The Chiefs better protect Cassel because the Lions front four will get after his ass. You better get the running game with Charles established to keep them from bringing heavy pressure.

"my link to the streaming games went tits up" exactly. it's been down for about 3 weeks. I don't think it's coming back.

...Oh, and the Chiefs....didn't watch it, but did watch the Steelers game...are you saying Chiefan that they suck worse than the Steelers?

They apparently suck even worse than Buffalo.

0-16 - if they keep coming out as flat and ill prepared as they did yesterday. I'd like to think they can't possibly play any worse than that but Haley may have already lost this team.

The old AFL pro-football team that currently represents the town, or the mid-major door-mat fast up from D1-AA? You could successfully argue a case either way....

It's true that it's only one game.
Lot of ball left to be played.

But they looked like @ss all preseason, Paul.
You could say (sort of) that this is the fifth shit game in a row for them.
Or... seventh shit game, even, if you go back to the end of last year when Oakland and then Baltimore drummed them into submission.

KC's failure to do jack shit on offense (at home) against a Barffalo team that gave up 425 pts last season doesn't do much to bolster confidence that you'll get things geared up - absent C. Weiss.

No creampuff schedule to push you along this year, either.

Yep. You didn't just lose a close one you should have had on a fluke play or penalty or something. You got absolutely brutalized at home by a 4-12 team. Hardcore convicts turned their heads in shame at that prison rape. The Queefs have a ridiculously tough schedule this year and Buffalo at home was supposed to be one of your 5 or 6 wins.

You're fucked, fatboy.

One loss or one win does not a season make.

However, if they come out against the Lions looking as shitty as they did against the Bills, Haley might as well call a press conference and outright admit that the only thing they are looking to win this season is the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes.

Did Tard Haley accuse the Bills of unnecessarily running up the score? I mean, a 41-7 beatdown against the last place team in the AFC East is comparable to a 83-2 blowout by the Gaytriots, is it not?

The Chiefs are a hot, steaming, smoldering wreck...Haley better have his resume up-to-date.

Meanwhile, I'm no longer embarassed of my football team. I might have 3 teams to enjoy this fall.

As bad as the Griefs look, they still not as terrible as the Colts. That must be why Polian didn't make a move at QB until 2 weeks before the season started, pure genius.

I thought the Herm Edwards years were bad, but this is unbelievable. If Haley gets gassed tomorrow I won't be shocked. SOMEBODY'S head(s) needs to roll for this shit....having said that, losing three good young players 3 out of the last 4 weeks to season-ending knee injuries (Tony Moeaki, Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles) is almost unprecedented.

Bwhaha you know that'll never be Scott, KC will find a way to beat the Horse meat, or Norv will have the Bolts doing a face plant at Narrowhead. KC will finish with at least 2 or 3 wins.

Indy on the other hand will be lucky not to finish 0-16.

This Chiefs teams will be setting many records for futility I have a feeling.
Cant score, cant stop any one on the other team from scoring. We haven't seen the worst of it either.
They are still trying to win right now. Another loss or two, and they will flat out quit all together.

If this continues in KC, who do you see getting placed on the chopping block first?

Cassell
Haley
Pioli

I could see a scenario where Tardd Haley tries to deflect blame by throwing Cassell (and his current 50.4 QB rating) under the bus.
Problem is, there is no viable alternative.

Might be premature, but I could easily see Haley being shitcanned before the season is over.

Word on the NFL network on Sirius Radio is Garard could end up in KC. So I think you're correct pops. Cassel gets thrown under the bus first and Haley gets fired after the season is over. I think Pioli is safe.

This WILL continue this coming Sunday- SD is gonna take out their anger at losing to NE on KC, and it will be ugly....again.

The following two games are at home vs. the Vi-Queens and on the road at Indy. IF KC loses those games too, there is NO way Haley survives the Week 6 bye, and deservedly so.

Probably Romeo Crennel as the interim HC.....and none of this will be fixed as long as Clark Hunt is in control. He only cares about profit and not winning.
