Watching the talking heads programs this morning, most are saying some sort of version of what MS said about jobs. Although MS said it would need an amendment, which he is correct about. The main fix most are spewing is to make the police and fire department the same make up as the town or 67% black. They also think all the leadership should be black, all officers should live in the city they work in, and promotions should favor the racial majority of the community.

But a better point to make isn't that these killings in CHI haven't received any media coverage, (clearly it was reported on because we all know about them and don't live there), rather the lack of concern, outcry, statements from "Black Leadership." The reason the media isn't giving us round the clock coverage of the Chicago gang killings is because no one really cares, not even the black community. Now if Al or Jesse or the NAACP or that Bishop who makes stupid statements, or Kanye or Oprah or anyone with black skin really cared and spoke out about the Chicago killings, that would at least get it another 15 minutes on the news cycles.

But that is the big problem. None of them are making statements or protesting these gang killings because it doesn't even rate above thunderstorms on the evening news in the black community. Al, Jesse, Bishop, Kanye, etc, etc, etc only get involved whey it serves their political and PR agenda. The Chicago killings don't fit that bill.
