These strategists came to the perfectly logical conclusion that the Republican party needed to be more inclusive of minorities (who will eventually be the majority). So the Republicans promptly nominated the most xenophobic candidate they could find. You want to talk about complete irrelevance? That would be the future of the Republican party.

BTW, The Bushbots don't have to worry about undermining the party's nominee. He'll handle that all by himself.

Kinda wish that Ron Paul went Libertarian this time around. He would have pulled a lot of the Bernie Bros and would have had a damn good chance of winning. I am OK with Johnson, but Weld is a textbook U&R Republican, which means pretty much a dem. I don't think that being pro-weed should be anough to get on the Lib. ticket.
