The real question here is why we have libs continuing to dwell on the evils on American slavery. Is it because they thing slavery is more terrible than conservatives do?

It all boils down to one thing. Keeping balck folk on the "progressive" plantation. They think that if they out "white guilt" conservatives, it will keep them pulling the D lever. For the last 50 years or so, this strategy has paid off, but I believe this tactic is slowly but surely running out of gas, as most political strategies eventually do. People like Dr Ben pose a danger to them and they will do everything in their power to tear him down.
