This is ridiculous. Those questioning the police reaction, please consider:

The attacker was holding a gun to the innocent victim. The perp could have pulled the trigger at any second. If she had fired, would you still be maintaining your ludicrous argument?

The hostage taker was taken down properly. If anything, the police took too long to make the decision to take her out. Her color hasn’t got a goddam thing to do with this event.

Yea a lot of stuff COULD have happened. Cop could have hit the hostage or just wounded the perp who then shot the hostage or a cop. Both of which are highly likely. That’s why there is a procedure in place and “put down the gun” a 100 times before you shoot ain't it.
