If a small market team can beat a team like the Yanks with a huge payroll then why make an issue out of it?

Stay out of the grown-up's discussion, Jamika. It's WAY over your chemically-abused dome.

Sin,
Bandwagoners-R-Us
Your easily the dumbest motherfucker to ever post in this forum. Unlike your Rams cocksucking self, I was born and raised an Angel fan.
Even through the '95 collapse when we were up by 12 games in mid august, and mark langston pitched in Seattle and lost the game that would've gotten us in the playoffs.
Then theres this:
Whats the date here, fatfuck?
What about the posting date on this, Piglet Paulina?
Exactly.
Bow the fuck down to us you frontrunning rotund bitch

The more they spend, the funnier it is when they fail. You just know they'll reload the team again and spend around $250 million at least...and we'll all hope they fall on their face again. If they didn't spend so damn much, I wouldn't hate them.

Because beating the Yanks and being a TRUE small market team is like David and Goliath.
David beat the dude ONCE but they never tell you about all the beatings David (and the others) took.
There are 30 teams in baseball but only 1/2 of them have any real shot of making the Post season.
Do you ever think you will see Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Colorado or Kansas City win the World Series in this modern era??
If they ever do, think of what the odds would be in Vegas!
ODDS!

Jack, we've been down this road before. Why should they have revenue sharing? George spends tons of money because it's within the rules. EVERY one of these owners is a billionaire so what's the big deal about losing a few million dollars. If they've been so successful at making money why can't they spend any on their baseball teams? Why does Mile Illitch spend tons of jack on the Red Wings but nothing on the Tigers? If a small market team can beat the Yankees then the amount of money they spend isn't an issue, talent is, chemistry is, other things are except having a bunch of over paid players on their roster. George is an idiot because he spends money on guys like Kevin Brown, Carl Pavano, Jaret Wright etc.....
Every owner has the ability to spend a lot of money but many choose not to so why get upset at George for spending HIS money on his team? Every team benefits from the Yankees coming to town because they sell out. If the Yankees were a middle of the road team would KC, Minn, etc...sell out when they come to town? Probably not.
This argument is tired and old and it's been proven the last few years that the team that spends the most doesn't always win.
