2 thoughts on Miers nomination to SCOTUS...

a) Enough of this bigotry of low expectations: I am tired of this bullshit about Miers being a maverick, trailblazer, having broken the glass ceiling. I expect this nonsense from the left, not Republicans and not conservatives.
b) This is the last nail in the coffin of the nonsense that the Right is lockstep with Bush. Bush has taken significant hits now on NCLB, trade, immigration, McCain-Feingold, Miers nomination, and last week's House vote that Republicans bolted en masse...all from the Right. Yet, we see the Left in total lockstep re: both Roberts and Miers.

I'm having some serious difficulty keeping a straight face while at my desk. Perhaps if you started making some sense I would stop seeing the humor in your posts?

Checking the numbers we see: 22 Dems against Roberts, 22 Dems for Roberts. What exactly is your definition of lockstep?

B -- Again, what are you having difficulty with? You assert that I am not making sense.
Well....we're waiting.
SYNW - citing the outcome as though it clinches your argument is as weak as it is empty. Recall the allegations that Roberts was a threat to women's rights, civil rights, choice, etc. from the Left. It was universal. The demands that Roberts offer his policy preferences was universal on the Left. Get it?

Your tiresome prose and your circular reasoning come to mind.
You assert that I am not making sense.
That is true.

So you have no difficulty understanding what I posted. I thought as much.
Good day.

I, like the rest of us, understand it to be utterly nonsensical garbage.

How so, B?
Come on, B...if you going to tell me I'm not making sense, then you have an obligation to describe how that is.
On the other hand, if you simply disagree with it, then say so and don't disguise it. You Democrats and your disguises...so afraid of showing your true colors...

No I don't.

There is nothing to agree or disagree with. You're doing nothing but playing mad libs with talking points.

Actually, it is the last nail in the coffin of the nonsense that Bush is actually a conservative.
True dat...though several nails had that pinned down during the 00 primary and general. His "compassionate" conservatism was a dead giveaway.

B:
No I don't.
Sure you do...otherwise you're ignorant bitch, period.
There is nothing to agree or disagree with. You're doing nothing but playing mad libs with talking points.
So now it makes sense...I'm ad-libbing "talking points."
You know, I don't know if there's a weaker form of debate/argument/discussion that relies on impugning the motives of your counterparts or appeal to bad faith motives.
You may go now, dismissed.

mad-lib/ad-lib who cares?
the point is that you're a gibbering asshat. there is no question about that.
I wonder if Mister Bushice will be here to bitch and whine that you hijacked the thread? if you really wanted to play with my nuts you could have started another thread, twat.

It goes to my point that you exist purely for conflict. You don't even care about making a point or even proving a point. You just crave the opportunity to yell "ASSHAT!" in a crowded room. It is one thing to love to argue (I'm guilty), but you don't even require a coherent thought to argue.

The fool always mistakes lack of desire for lack of capacity.

Well, for an alleged lack of desire you've sure spent some time following up here, B.
Way to KYOA, dolt.

If I didn't like Nishlord's quote so much in my sig, this could become my new sig. Unfortunately, they've limited the characters to the point where I can't have both.

If me posting that is a surprise to you then either you're feigning surprise or you've simply not paid attention to my posts (despite the fact that you attempt to label me or characterize my posting).
Well?

Neither. My point in mentioning using that as my sig was to prove what I've said many times before: "compassionate conservatism" is an oxymoron.

No, mearly a misnomer.
Brought on by the GOP's aquiesance in allowing the radical left to misoppropriate and defile the term Liberal.
Which is what Bush, like Reagan before him, actually is.
