It's a bunch of fun, if you have the right folks to hang with. All you need is a couple of discs (one for longer "drives" and one for putting), a big enough spot and some targets (in official spots, the targets are baskets). Beer helps. Ok...after too many, it doesn't anymore...

I've been doing it for about 10 years now (got a friend who throws a summertime tournament on his property every year) and dig it.

And no, I don't honestly consider it a sport, even though there's a "PDGA" (Pro Disc Golfers' Association) that takes it all pretty seriously...
