Funny that the media printed that cartoon. Could you imagine the Bush Administration allowing such criticisim on their dime?

It's not funny that the media printed it, nor curious. It's widely known that the media was just plain wrong on many major issues related to Katrina relying on unsubstantiated heresay and rumors. It's an accurate accounting of the media's reporting on Katrina.

No, it is an opinion about the media's reporting that was printed IN MAJOR MEDIA OUTLETS NATIONWIDE.
If the Bush Adminsitration had that kind of a healthy post mortem examination of the WMD intel maybe, just maybe, they could avoid making the same stupid mistakes again. But they don't, and just last week they shut down Penn Station based on the same type of faulty intell that sent us to Iraq in the first place.
But hey, this isn't the first time irony has belted you upside the head.

Spin it how you want, but as I demonstrated just the other day in Main Street, the mainstream media got the levee failure issue wrong, got the murder and raping at the Convention Center wrong, tragically kept repeating bogus death tolls numbers, and now have gotten the toxic floodwater story wrong, too. Major issues that the mainstream media simply got wrong.
This cartoon captures that quite nicely.

Which "stupid mistakes" would those have been? And if I recall correctly, it was
you people demanding that Bush implement the intelligence "reforms" that Congress recommended, yet now you're going to blast Bush for allege intelligence mistakes after the implementation of those "reforms?"
Hypocrisy, much? Lie, much?
But they don't, and just last week they shut down Penn Station based on the same type of faulty intell that sent us to Iraq in the first place.
"They" shut down Penn Station? I understand that that is a local decision, is it not? So, like Katrina where Bush was responsible, supposedly, for not getting people evacuated, Bush is not responsibile for a local decision to shut down part of the NY subway system??
Are you serious?

Thanks for confirming how fucking dumb you are then. Keep playing these games. It just results in more Republicans being elected.
