Pats Vs Donks.....
Pats Vs Donks.....
Awfully quiet in here this week for such a big matchup. Lots of Donkey fans in here I know so lets do this....
Once again I am extremely nervous about this game. Injuries are really piling up. As much as I hate Bye weeks I am glad ours is next week. Hopefully they can heal up a little.
Never easy to go into Denver and win. My guess is that we focus on stopping the run again and let Jake try to beat us. Hopefully he turns into old Jake the Snake. By all accounts the Denver "D" is much improved. Have not seen them much but I have faith in Brady and the boys. Another Vinatieri win late.....
Pats--24
Donks--21

Busy busy busy these days.
I thought some of my fellow Broncos fans other than Red would step up but some of them are a bit on the soft side. (Cough DTown, Felix cough)
So here are my thoughts:
Plummer played like shit last week and being he seems to have an pattern of on again off again play he is due this week. The Pats have had trouble vs. the run this season so far and the Broncos are just the team to exploit that to the fullest.
That Pats have come back to the pack but until they are officially eliminated from playoff contention in my mind they are the team to beat. Brady is still nails, and their defensive line has talent up the ass.
But they have had O line problems this season. Rookies take time to adjust and while I like Madkins (Seems like a tough kid in the two games I've seen him) I'll take my chances vs. our D line.
Two of the best coaches in the NFL going at it. Does it get any better than this?
Great matchup, two great teams, the home field advantage ultimately puts us over the top.
Brady is Brady and puts up points and numbers, the difference is that they can't stop us as well as they have in the past.
A 4th quarter turnover decides the outcome.
I'd propose a sig bet with Pat fan but that didn't work out so well last week did it?
Ahh fuck it, I'll propose one anyway with one of you guys.
Broncos 24 Pats 22.

As good as New England is I'm guessing even they can't overcome all of the injuries they've suffered......
The Denver defense is for real.......
Broncos roll to 5-1
Denver-31
Patsies-21
Note to ICSF.....calling out other fans is never a good idea......
get out, get out while there's still time

That would be Bradlee Van Pelt and I still think he should be starter, IMHO. Considering the respect, or lack thereof, that Shanny has given him since he was drafted, he's lucky to even be on the team right now. Shanny is just letting a shitload of talent just sit on the bench week after week. I'm not saying Plummer is a bad QB, I'm saying Van Pelt is better.BSmack wrote:If Jake Plummer shows up, then the Pats have a chance. If that other guy who's been playing QB for Denver shows up, then the Pats were going to get blown the fuck out.
If the defense shows up and plays like they did last week, then the Patsies are going to get humiliated. There's pretty much no stopping Pryce, Wilson and Gold especially against a relatively weak NE offense in addition to a rather long injury list of key players.
Broncos finally decide to go for the 30 mark this week:
Broncos 35, Pats 17

True, but he won't actually be playing this week according to an article in another thread. Most likely he'll sit this one out as well.Hapday wrote:News about Teddy playing again will fire up this team. I predict an ass kicking.
Partiots - 36
Mules - 14
So until he actually re-joins the huddle, I don't see them being very fired up for his return. If anything, they might have a little fire in them because it sounds like he'll be ok.
There's a difference between "hearing word" and "actually playing"
