Just when you think it couldn't get any worse. Culpepper and the Vikings go for it in fourth down and he gets sacked on his own 1 yard line!

And don't think I don't appreciate it.

Although Ninerfan might want to argue the point.

It's to a point where you just don't give a fuck anymore. What a waste of my time.

I can't argue with it . The Vikings have a team that can contend , talent wise , as opposed to the Niners .

Tice is walking the plank .

At least your teams have the excuse of absolutely shitty player personnel (And Ontarrio going wizzinator).....Nobody in the entire fucking league has done less with more than Al.....my bad, I mean Norv

Really?
Kerry Collins or Daunte Culppeper?

I'll give you Moss over our WRs

But Smoot, Winfield, Kevin Williams, Pat Williams, Napolean Harris, etc...

it might be close.

At least you've won a game.

Houston Texans

The Texans might be worse right now than the Vikes. But if they played each other, I'm sure the queens would find some way to fuck themselves.

My only saving grace of being a LionFan right now is that the division is so awful. Minnesota should be winning the NFC North going away...they are without a doubt the biggest disappointment in the league.

This season might be the first in which 2 7-9 teams make the playoffs .

Parity is breeding mediocrity .

The NFC has become unwatchable .

Small divisions are breeding mediocrity. Replace this format with four 8 team divisions and Chicago and Detroit would be the mid card jobbers that they are instead of "division leaders".

Hell , if you combined the NFC West with the NFC North right now , it may be uglier than Arena Football .

Take a look what some fans did to Tice's parking spot at the dome!

Almost as good as one year some Viking fan wrote in huge letters on the hill across from Vikings Winter Park "FIRE DENNY!"

Yep.

4 8-team divisions would be fine with me, so long as the league wouldn't then toss in 19 wildcard teams, which they WOULD.

4 8-team divions. 4 division winners get in, plus 2 wildcards from each conference.

8 teams make the playoffs.

I like it.

Getting rid of the salary cap , or adding significant room to it , would help too . With the salaries demanded from agents like the Postons , teams might have a chance keeping marquee players .

Offing agents like the Postons or Rosenhauses would be even better .

Nope, the cap is a good thing. Though I wouldn't necessarily be against allowing hometown incentives for a small number of players (maybe 4 or 5 guys) who could be signed and not count against the cap. But getting rid of the cap would cause all hell to break loose.

FTFY

Once upon a time, there was no cap, but no free agency either. I like free agency, but Bri's right, keeping it sane requires a cap.

A rookie salary cap is what is really needed. The 1st pick in the draft should be something every team wants or would like to trade for, but isn’t right now because of the outrageous salary demands for the top pick. More importantly paying rookies up front lessens their desire to work hard to be the best they can be at their "craft".

I'd also like to see an increase in roster size similar to college ball, to lessen the injury factor. Sure guys are available on the waiver wire, but without TC they really never get up to speed during the course of the season.

Oh yeah...I'd say the Vikings are the worst team in the NFL right now. Considering how many teams suck this season, and the talent on Minnesota's roster, that’s gotta be Tice’s biggest achievement since becoming HC.......
