go into their bye week 3-3. Great for them to concede the win to the Broncos from about midway through the 1st qtr. From that point there was no heart, effort or resemblance of professional football in any facet of New England's game - except maybe from the punter. Shameful - especially from a Belichick team. I am surprised.

Give credit where it is due Th.....denver looks fucking wicked this year.

Gotta RACK shanny for making the moves that garnered the most scritiny in the NFL, yet have paid massive divedends.

If Plummer can keep his head on straight and not force the occasional stupid throw, they will win it all this year. That defense is fucking mean.

I disagree, when the running game wears down the defence, you play it safe and keep the ball on the ground.

No no no... you use the run to set up the pass.

Give Bell the ball on 1st and 2nd downs and then if you must, throw the ball to Rod on 3rd down.
Running games work..

The dynasty might be over. But I'm not so sure about this game. This is now a 15 point game with a quarter to play. I was kidding about Rod Smith, but it does look like Shanny is going into full prevent mode.

With all credit due to the Broncos for being the much better team on the field today, at least the Patriots TRIED to make a game of it. I stand by my comment that the Patriots were FLAT - at least for the majority of the game and that will only help them continue on their downward spiral if it is not corrected. It stands worth watching to see if the possible return of Tedy Bruschi and furthermore Richard Seymour to the team after the bye week can help restore some consistancy to the run defense.

They haven't lost 3 games in the previous 2 seaons. They're 3-3 with a bye week coming up.

A little spoiled yeah, but I'm not worried. Anybody who wants to throw dirt on the Pats can feel free to do so.

Props to the Broncos. They totally outplayed us today.

Pats'll be back.

Great to come away with the win, but as with most wins this season, it wasn't pretty especially today in the 3rd and early 4th. Giving up 20 unanswered points is just simply unacceptable.

Pats are a great team (well, not as "great" this year) but I was expecting more of a game from them from the opening kickoff and not just during the 2nd half.

Rack 5-1 and on to the Giants!

Oh shut the fuck up already bitch!

You do realize that we just beat the defending champs right?

In fact since you seem a little slow at times I'll say it again.

We just beat the defending champs!

But jumping out to a huge lead then giving up yards in garbage time is "unacceptable."

What the fuck kind of fan are you anyway?

We beat the defending champs and you complain that we gave up points late after jumping out to a big lead?

You are without a doubt the saddest excuse for a Bronco fan on this board.

You bring the rest of us down with your level of tardness.

Just enjoy the fucking win already.

Youd fucking whine if you won the lottery.

First off I gotta RACK Denver. Nice team ya got there. Both sides of the ball look solid. Hope to get another crack at ya in the playoffs.

The Pats are actually in the position that I figured. 3-3 after that BRUTAL 6 game stretch to start the season is not bad in my opinion. I would have preferred 4-2 or better but I will take 3-3. Our division sucks so it's a pretty good bet that we can make it into the dance just because of that. 2 games left against the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets each respectively could help to fatten the record. Not to mention that 6 of their last 10 are at home.

I am DISGUSTED at this defense. I swear to god if I see Monty Beisel, Chad Brown, or Duane Starks on the field again I will call Belichick myself. Thank GOD Bruschi is coming back. He received medical clearence so he is good to go.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2193402

Bring back Roman Phifer PLEASE!!! Anybody but those 2 clowns at LB. Starks should have been cut after the Charger game. Troy Brown played better corner then this guy. Getting Bruschi and Seymour back in a couple weeks will go a long way towards solving some glaring problems.....

I'm proud of my team for at least giving an effort in the 2nd half and making this a game. Deion Branch caught that ball which supposedly came out after the big hit. The ball actually didn't come out till after he hit the ground. Belichick is too afraid to challenge sometimes. Givens dropping that pass was a killer. Beisel missing that tackle on Putzier and Stark's play all day was the real killer though. I mean it's 3rd and 4 on the game deciding play and you give the guy a 10 yard cushion??? Not to mention that he closed on him and in the process of tackling Smith he throws him over the 1st down line. UNFREAKINGBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!

Bye week couldn't come at a better time!!!

PS---KC fan cracks me UP!!! Your team is 3-2 and we are 3-3 but we are DONE??? FREAKING HILARIOUS!! My team has played in 5 Superbowls and won 3 of them over the past 20 years. What have you guys done over the last 26? How many Lamar Hunt trophies in your case? I mean since it is named after your owner and all! Maybe you should bring Hank back? Oh wait even he croaked waiting for that inept franchise to win another one! Keep selling out that old stadium boys!! Your owners are laughing all the way to the bank!!
